How was it a split decision if the scores were 37-36, 37-36, 37-38?

As the fight went to the judges’ scorecards it was apparent to most that Pulver had won the fight, scoring two 10-8 rounds in the second and third due to knocking down Vincent. Things however seemingly might have gone awry when the first judge’s scorecard was announced 38-37 in favor of Vincent. Things were quickly righted though when the next two judges scored the fight 37-36 giving Pulver his second win in two fights.

I watched it last night, the guy was a better boxer than Jens, but Jens caught him with a straight left in the 2nd and 3rd that put him down. Vincent put Pulver down in the first and I thought he was going to be out but that Vincent guy didnt seem like he wanted to finish him off. If Jens wouldnt of scored the second knockdown it would of been unanimous for Vincent...........

Saw it too. The other guy's boxing was more polished. Pulver did well to come back after that knockdown. He's got a long, long, long way to go if he's got eyes on a title shot somewhere down the line.

I think if Vincent would of pressed Pulver after the first knockdown he could of finished him........

I agree. I wasnt impressed at all with Jens Pulver. The two lefts that knocked down Vincent didnt look powerful and Vincents feet were side by side which sent him down. Vincent cleary wasnt hurt by those two knockdowns. Vincent cleary had Pulver hurt in the first round but for some unkown reason didnt try to finish off Pulver.

I wanted Pulver to knock Vincent out when Vincent started to showboat.
