I am sorry but do people forget all the bull**** Reagan put us through? ok, the man is dead and he was a US president, but common people! for the love of GOD! yeah he spoke pretty... HE WAS AN ACTOR, he was good at saying bull**** that is what he did for years. Do people forget that the reason we are in this current position is because of him? that he drove this country to one of the worst financial crisis since the depression, that during his term him and his people had the noble idea of training BinLadden so to win the war against the USSR? why are we treating him like he wa ****ing ghandi?

Reagan did more for foreign relations than anyone else in history. He pretty much ended the cold war that had been going on since the 60s. I'm sure Blue or anyone over 30 remembers how we all went to bed fearing that the Russians were going to nuke us at any moment. The economy was in good shape and we had jobs. He was probably the best president we've had modern era. He got it done.

Regan was great

All I can remember were the mad money spent on the star wars crap, people on unemployment or having to hold down 3 jobs to support a family. I am over 30 Curly and things were not all that great during his term.

"Reagan was one of the worst presidents our country has ever had. He
committed some of the worst human rights attrocities of any U.S. president.
I've seen no mention of the tens of thousands of people killed by the
contra's who were armed and trained by the U.S. under reagan.. or what of
the "war on drugs" and the gutting of social spending under Reagen. Because
of his administration millions of people saw their lifes worsen and tens of
thousands would be killed or tortured via CIA training/arms in Central
America. people should be spitting on his grave not saluting it."

good words from a good man. :crucified

Although I disagree, I am curious as to who said those words. You missed putting that in there.

I hate it when people look back at their life and shift the accountability and blame. Someone has a crappy life, or goes through trouble through their past and blames it not upon themselves and their decisions, but upon other people. Why? Because they are too weak to handle that burden so they’d much rather shift it upon others. Example: Kato shifting that crappy part of her life onto Reagan. She went through a crappy time in her life and had to deal with consequences of decisions that she had previously made, thus being too weak to accept her accountability she blames the President. Why not? It’s definitely the easiest thing to do, however it’s chicken **** to me and the signs of a weak individual.

Age obviously has nothing to do with understanding of life accountability, and everything to do with the peace of inner-maturity.

Mouse, you're a ****ing idiot loser with no life so you have to cling to an antiquated and ridicilous faith to try to add meaning to your worthless life which to put into your words "It’s definitely the easiest thing to do, however it’s chicken **** to me and the signs of a weak individual" . Stop trying to pretend that you're even 1/2 intelligent. You're not, nobody is buying it. Just STFU.

Bluecifer, obviously for you who cling to your macho balls with one hand and your pride in another, can’t possibly understand that I cling to neither but to my religion for both support and hope. Grow up man.

Absolutely agree. Brother Ray was an innovater, motivator, and a musical genius. He was fearless....a true icon. It's a damn shame his death made for page two news.

Listen "genius" what decisions? I was a child, but old enough to see what was going on around me? how can you point the finger when you are the first one to complain of your crappy life and print in these forums your out most depressions...pleaseeee... look at yourself in the mirror. The reality if that most of our financial situations are weighed on the shoulders of our leaders and the decisions they make, spending millions of dollars on the Star Wars project made for our nation to suffer in all aspects Education, Security and the Industry. The current job market suffering because Bush has allowed for large Corporations to have enormous tax cuts if they are to move to other countries is causing a chain reaction within out nation. Saying that our leaders have no responsibility with our nations financial stability is simply idiotic...well then again...look at who I am speaking to.

This is a funny statement coming from you. I put my thoughts in words, you are free to agree or disagree that is the beauty of free will, but you can not argue a topic without the need to belittle the thoughts of another member in this forum or insulting them just because they do not match your own

I concur with Kato on this statement. Just because we disagree doesn't mean you have to insult us and tell us how stupid we or our opinions are. Keep in mind that we are older than you and have lived thru the Reagan era. You didn't.
