i think this guy has only 1 weak album (c true hollywood stories) but everything he's released is very good. can-i-bus, 2000 b.c, mic club, rip the jacker, hip hop for sale.

what do you think about canibus?

He's not an Mc, 'mc' is not the same as 'plain rapper' and lyricist is not the same either you can be each and or the other but they are not the same thing.

I like his fued with LL other than that as Godz said he trys to hard.

Flavor Flav was more of a true MC than Canibus is.

2000 B.C. is one of the best lyrical albums ever.

Tries too hard, some of his act seems contrived...like Doom. He has his nice moments though. His verse on "Beasts......" is still one of the 5 most incredible verses I have ever heard.

Canibus is one of my favorite lyricists, he's had some show stealing guest verses and I even enjoyed his first l.p that was produced by Wyclef....

this is my favorie Bis freestyle

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vhhPAPRA0is&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vhhPAPRA0is&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

although the reason I like this freestyle more is because of DMX's antics in the video than Bis' lyrics

@ about the 1:40 mark the joyful exuberance DMX displays when Canibus raps about his skills of eating *****s asses is priceless

Canibus is in my top 3 for sure. I can't wait for his next album, hopefully it gets some dope production like Rip The Jacker did.

Cannibus is the ****. The thing is, you dont make it big on freestyles alone. You have to know how to make a hook, make a real song. Not just flow every single track.

Why do you think papoose fell off? And Immortal Technique hasn't blow up? Not because they aren't great, its because they don't make dope hooks, don't make a real track. They just flow.

Example. Lupe Fiasco. Lyrical out the ass, no homo. He is successful because he can make a real track. Another example is Wayne. He is only great because he fools dumb *****s with his hooks. Otherwise he goes on and on about nonesense, just dumb **** that rhymes and doesn't make sense. Add some synthsizers and all the idiots are on his jock.

That's pretty much it. Although, Lupe isn't really on the same level as 50 or Wayne in terms of mainstream appeal, mainly because of his lyrics - they go over peoples' heads and they generally aren't club bangers.

As for Bis, he's at the point where he knows he's not going to blow up in the mainstream so he's getting into some real creative ****.
