Kickett won on points and apparently looked impressive, but still not keeping his hands up all the time

Asiku beat seven shades of **** out of St Clair.. becoming the first man to stop him in the 9th.. a stoppage that came far too late by the sounds

Green scored a second round KO.. big surprise

Seriously, this is getting beyond a joke. I have only seen highlights of the Main Event but it just looked disgusting. I am really developing a festering hatred for Green. How they can charge people $50 to watch that tool beat up a fat old man who wasn't any good to start with is just revolting.

I couldn't agree more. Green is just as bad as Mundine in this regard. I really don't like Green anymore. He thinks he is better than what he actually is.

There should be a law against this short of **** being on PPV.

In some ways he is almost worse. To be honest I might even be going for Mundine if they were to fight again. This guy is a joke. Shouting out "I'm back" after beating up a guy 90% of the audience would have had a good shot against. Seriously, Green's opposition has been even worse than Anthony's throughout his career. He doesn't get anywhere near the criticism he deserves.

Hi Guys,
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Couldn't agree with you more about the quality of Green's opponent. It really was quite pitiful to watch.
Admittedly I only watched to see how Kickett would bounce back. You have to admit that the kid has talent. It was certainly good to see him gain some more ring time. He looked a little shaky early on and got caught a couple of times in rounds one and two. He settled in round 3 and looked very impressive from then on.
As mentioned above, he needs to keep his hands up and stop relying on his reflexes to avoid trouble.
Asiku v st Clair was painful to watch. Gairy seriously needs to consider his future in the sport. He was dropped heavily in round 2 and was on rubber legs for the rest of the fight. That man has a heart the size of Pharlap, but is too tough for his own good. He ate huge right hands throughout. Not sure who is in Gairy's corner, but the towel should've been thrown in rounds 6 or 7. I could not believe that would let him absorb so much punishment.
Briggs nearly climbed out of his commentary box to stop the fight himself in round 9. Shame on the ref, and Gairy's corner. I actually felt quite sick afterwards.

Not sure what's next for Green. He certainly didn't gain anything from this fight.
Cheers

The question is how do people continue to swallow this ****? I mean, on Fox Sports news this morning they were making out like Green had chosen a tough guy to come back against. FFS, the guy looked like someone they grabbed from the pub on Friday. Just so ridiculous.

I think he is worse. Mundine is Mundine, but Green plays the good guy but clearly isn't.
At least Mundine has been in with Kessler.

I hear you mate. I needn't add much as the rhetoric of your question spells it rather clearly. We are fortunate I suppose that they didn't let Danny's wife near the mic again. That woman is such a trout.

They are both Pretty classless people really.

Green doesn't talk much about the 2nd Bayer fight. What went wrong there Danny?

One of my mates won on the pokies and bought the fight, I refused to watch it.

I really think I am close to hating Green more than Mundine.

I wish one of them would jump in with Bika.

Green v Bika would be a great fight. Has Bika ever fought above 168?

Green hasn't ever been close to a great fight. Bika would win.

I was at the fight last night, free tickets. But when Green's opponent walked in the ring and took his shirt off It hadn't looked like he had trained in months. He was easily the fattest fighter on the night and looked buggered after the first round, when green was noticably holding back.

Kickett looked alright, but his opponent wasn't throwing, when he did kickett didn't look that great on the defencive tbh.

St Claire just stopped throwing after he was knocked down in the 2nd, but his opponent looked like he had some venom in his punches.

It was the first pro fight i've been too, but if you had paid $95 bucks to see that you would have been pissed off. I know the couple sitting next to me arrived just before the green fight, they were rather annoyed.

I am actually really happy that people are seeing this too. Green has made his name of Mundine for his entire career.
