Depends on what your goal is. Creatine helps for your body to retain water which makes it seem that you are gaining lean muscle when you are not. Remember, if you are a normal human being, the most muscle you could probably gain in 1 month is 1.5 lbs. tops. People that say they gained 5 pounds in a months using creatine probably gained 1 lb. of muscle and the rest water and fat.

Since you are on a boxing site, I assume you want to take creatine to help your training and that is not what it's gonna do. If anything it will hinder it by bloating you up with water.

Look into the food pyramid and push yourself everytime you work in the gym. Hard work and common sense in what you ingest will help you the most.

Don is right on the money. It really depends on what you're trying to do. If you're trying to simply bulk up, creatine can help. However, if you're trying to just build lean mass, I'd lay off the creatine.

In my experiences taking creatine, it's made me feel bloated and, in the end, made me put on weight (not the lean type of mass though).

Here's a few articles that can give you some more background information on creatine and you can decide for yourself whether it will help you attain what you're working toward:

Getting the Facts Straight on Creatine (http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/creatine_supplement_facts.htm)

Hope this helps.

Allot, not all protein on the market will actually bloat you. You can even see the difference in your face sometimes. It will seem bigger and puffy. If you gain 10 lbs in a month, 2 lbs tops is muscle.

If you want to gain muscle, there is no way you are gaining 10 lbs. in 1 month. You can't even do that on the juice.

Hard work will pay off though. 2x12 is 24. Now think in one year from now, you could be walking around 24 lbs heavier if that is your thing. In two years, almost 50 lbs heavier. You're not gonna get there by lifting weithgs in one month.
