Soundtraveler 11-14-2004, 08:41 PM I'm pullimg for Michael Moorer and my friends at Prizefight Boxing obviously. I would love to see my main promotor have another quality name in his stable, and personally, Moorer was very nice to all the fight fans, including myself, I am proud to have added another signed glove to my collection from a 2 Time Heavyweight Champ.... The Fix 11-14-2004, 08:42 PM im rooting for moore also. jirov will have a tough time if moorer comes in shape whdempsey 11-14-2004, 10:12 PM I want Jirov to win it, and I think he will. He needs a win over a heavyweight. BDBowe 11-14-2004, 10:37 PM ssounds pretty cool. both are slow, im anxious to see what moorer is capable of Nodogoshi 11-14-2004, 11:14 PM I'm not exactly sure who to root for in this fight. I am a fan of Jirov for his toughness but I also would like to see a vet like Moorer show us that hes still got what it takes to compete at the top. He didnt look great in his last fight but he was pretty fat so that could be the reason why. I'll probably just be hoping for a good fight. jujitsujn 11-15-2004, 01:04 AM I like jirov in this fight. Moorer always gave me the impression of a quitter and Jirov is tough as nails. Nautilus 11-15-2004, 01:08 AM Go Jirov !!! FistoftheDallasStar 11-15-2004, 01:35 AM Jirov has the better skill at this point in both fighters careers. Moorer will be dangerous but Jirov is just younger and hungrier. A younger Moorer could have won this one but that version is long gone. Nautilus 11-15-2004, 01:37 AM Jirov has the better skill at this point in both fighters careers. Soundtraveler 11-15-2004, 05:29 AM I can tell you Moorer plans on KO'ing Jirov, we will have to wait and see. I gotta say this, Moorer is going to come into this fight in great shape, and he is strong as an Ox. When we shook hands, it was like I was grabbing a stone.... Keleneki 11-15-2004, 06:07 AM I hope Moorer wins this one. Jirov has a good chin but I think that if Moorer can put together a good combination, he can get Jirov out of there. Nautilus 11-15-2004, 11:55 AM I can tell you Moorer plans on KO'ing Jirov, we will have to wait and see. When we shook hands, it was like I was grabbing a stone.... Is this handshake the only evidence that Moorer is in shape? plexmc 11-15-2004, 12:33 PM jirov by ko outofit 11-15-2004, 06:57 PM it'd be hella kick ass if jirov took him out with a body shot RussianArm 11-15-2004, 07:03 PM  Moorer better lose all that flab because Jirov will be hitting him there all night. TheGreat1 11-15-2004, 07:11 PM when is this fight taking place. It will be a good one, i don't think jirov will KO moorer, but i do think he will win easy on the scorecards. Soundtraveler 11-15-2004, 07:34 PM Dec. 9th is when the fight is, and Michael is, as I said on the "Trip" thread, back with Brian Young, who was his conditioning coach when he defeated Holyfield to win the Heavyweight Championship. He has lost weight and is looking "hard" again not fat like his last couple of fights.... Eyeh8you 11-15-2004, 11:42 PM Im pretty sure Jirov will KO him in the 8th-10th. Moorer Just a shell of a fighter he used to be. Jirov is Jirov not the greatest but a tuff SOB who will be banging on him all night. Moorer will definetely fall :D phallus 11-15-2004, 11:57 PM Jirov needs to win this one, he's had bad luck at hw, i think he's getting desperate. If Moorer is in shape, and it sounds like he is, it's gonna come down to motivation. Jirov NEEDS this fight, Moorer doesn't, he'll be no worse off if he loses he just goes back into retirement. If Jirov loses, he won't be ranked as a contender and he'll never get the big payday he deserves. Eyeh8you 11-16-2004, 01:34 AM he's had bad luck at hw, i think he's getting desperate. . He only lost one fight at Heavy? Hows that badluck?  phallus 11-16-2004, 01:36 AM he should have disposed of Sloppy Joe Messi easily, the fight didn't go his way until the end when he was too behind on the scorecards, and he couldn't knock Mesi out |
