any predictions/hopes? i'm not familier with moorer but i'm a big jirov fan i'd love to see him win.

I'm pullimg for Michael Moorer and my friends at Prizefight Boxing obviously. I would love to see my main promotor have another quality name in his stable, and personally, Moorer was very nice to all the fight fans, including myself, I am proud to have added another signed glove to my collection from a 2 Time Heavyweight Champ....

im rooting for moore also. jirov will have a tough time if moorer comes in shape

I want Jirov to win it, and I think he will. He needs a win over a heavyweight.

I'm not exactly sure who to root for in this fight. I am a fan of Jirov for his toughness but I also would like to see a vet like Moorer show us that hes still got what it takes to compete at the top. He didnt look great in his last fight but he was pretty fat so that could be the reason why. I'll probably just be hoping for a good fight.

I like jirov in this fight. Moorer always gave me the impression of a quitter and Jirov is tough as nails.

Jirov has the better skill at this point in both fighters careers. Moorer will be dangerous but Jirov is just younger and hungrier. A younger Moorer could have won this one but that version is long gone.

I hope Moorer wins this one. Jirov has a good chin but I think that if Moorer can put together a good combination, he can get Jirov out of there.

when is this fight taking place. It will be a good one, i don't think jirov will KO moorer, but i do think he will win easy on the scorecards.

Dec. 9th is when the fight is, and Michael is, as I said on the "Trip" thread, back with Brian Young, who was his conditioning coach when he defeated Holyfield to win the Heavyweight Championship. He has lost weight and is looking "hard" again not fat like his last couple of fights....

Im pretty sure Jirov will KO him in the 8th-10th. Moorer Just a shell of a fighter he used to be. Jirov is Jirov not the greatest but a tuff SOB who will be banging on him all night. Moorer will definetely fall :D

Jirov needs to win this one, he's had bad luck at hw, i think he's getting desperate. If Moorer is in shape, and it sounds like he is, it's gonna come down to motivation. Jirov NEEDS this fight, Moorer doesn't, he'll be no worse off if he loses he just goes back into retirement. If Jirov loses, he won't be ranked as a contender and he'll never get the big payday he deserves.

he should have disposed of Sloppy Joe Messi easily, the fight didn't go his way until the end when he was too behind on the scorecards, and he couldn't knock Mesi out
