View Full Version : Should I buy a ps3 or a new gaming computer? Then again when they **** ports up like gta 4 and it barely works on PC unless you have an expensive very recent machine, then the ps3 is looking better. If you looking for fight night or other games that are console only then get the ps3 or an xbox. If you like whatever is on pc (first person shooters, online rpg stuff) get a pc. robjr 04-23-2009, 01:00 AM neither. 360 is way to go -Hyperion- 04-23-2009, 01:16 AM http://elblogdeljugon.com/wp-content/uploads/god%20of%20war%203.jpg PLAY B3YOND...... msagrain 04-23-2009, 05:30 AM Just get a ps3. PC gaming gives me a headache. So many patches to put on and it's always braking. Mech. 04-23-2009, 05:40 AM Ps3 I guess, PC games aren't doing that great right now because of piracy so developers would rather put their stuff on consoles. S A M U R A I 04-23-2009, 08:43 AM neither. 360 is way to go Seconded... ACHlLLES 04-23-2009, 11:44 AM I can wipe my ass with an xbox 360, two of them already broke Trippy 04-23-2009, 12:50 PM I'd go for a top notch gaming PC. Judging by what u typed sounds like ur leaning towards the ps3. go for it. Equilibrium 04-27-2009, 02:10 AM It depends on the type of games you like. Like shooters, strategy games, rpgs and mmos? PC all the way. Like sports games, fighting games and action games? Console. I'd suggest a 360 at that. A gaming pc will cost you more than a console. But you have to take into consideration that consoles games cost more than pc games, and even then, you can just download pirated versions of any pc games that come out for free if you want. Personally i mostly game on pc, because i like shooters and rts's. And i think shooters with a controller are retarded. Recently i was thinking about buying a 360, ended up buying a new vid card instead, cause i know i would have played some at first but i eventually went back to pc. Also, a good pc isn't only good for gaming. For me my pc is basically my entertainment center. Games, about 120 gigs of music, movies, tv shows, ect. Also, a gaming pc will always have better graphics, but that comes at a price, as you will need to upgrade some parts down the line. Did you see that hilarious post with the guy saying ps3 has better graphics then pc? My crappy gaming computer is stronger then the ps3. Well, its not crap but its old hardware Equilibrium 04-27-2009, 06:09 AM Did you see that hilarious post with the guy saying ps3 has better graphics then pc? My crappy gaming computer is stronger then the ps3. Well, its not crap but its old hardware Yeah i did. But it's true that if you have a game that barely meets what the game needs to run, you will have to run it on low settings making it look bad. But if you have the rig it will look much better than on the consoles. An example is GTA 4 which i play on pc, i run the game maxed and it looks so much better than on consoles. To make it look like the console version you have to put everything on medium. |
