What the **** is going on with this low carb crap every-****ing-where? Seriously. Is this not the most annoying crap ever?
Ask yourself, how many people do you know give a flying **** about the low carb diet fad? When i do, i get one answer. NO ONE. but when i ask myself how many people i know that can't stand this whole low-carb bull**** annoyance, the answer is EVERYONE I KNOW.
Every restaraunt i sit in there's a menu filled with "low-carb entrees". this drives me mental.
Now coke is releasing a low-carb coke, for whatever reason. Why bother? I mean for me, it's enough for me to purposely NOT buy a low carb product just cause it says low carb on it. It seems since basically everyone i know feels the same, wouldn't you think the research these companies with low carb products just coming out would show that more people are annoyed by it than there are people who give a rats ass?

realkaps 05-25-2004, 12:33 AM I hate that ****. The Atkins diet or whatever. Didnt that mother ****er die from heart failure or somthing? The beer and soup diet is the best eva........
Purity 05-25-2004, 12:53 AM the lowcarb diet is the newest, coolest, and easiest way to lose weight.
it's simple- **** up the way your body knows how to digest food, get an immediate response that favors your short-term goal, and be happy while you munch down cheeseburgers and live your normal procrastinating empty life.
there's nothing better than an easier fix that easily ignores long-term dangers. wwwwwwwwhich is why everyone that sucks the money dick is out there to capitalize on this trend before people pull their heads out of their asses and realize that it's all bull****. and OF COURSE that would never happen (e.g. tobacco industry) so our lazy asses will just get tired of eating lettuce burgers.
and it may not be rampant in yer town general. it is here. in cali, we have tons of wealthy, traffic dodging, empty-souled folks who are just DYING for a cause. this is why every one of my co-workers feels enlightend by the low-card jackass authenticity diet.
Purity 05-25-2004, 12:55 AM kinda reminds me of the indoctrination of dry humping plastic rings at a young age/aka/the hula hoop.
KittyKitty 05-25-2004, 08:23 AM this, also, makes me want to punch random people.
Leather 05-25-2004, 09:01 AM **** the diets, train hard or make some sport, look your food and eat with a min equilibrium and enjoy!!!
Oh!! And go parties or clubs! you can burn a lot of calories here...
handjobs4dollars 05-25-2004, 12:24 PM I love how everybody eats a pound of bacon and says I'm eating right.
DOGGx0 05-25-2004, 12:40 PM I actually dig the low carb ****. Of course, its a little monotonous with having a double cheeseburger thats supposed to be low carb, same with dorito chips and such. However, there is alot of **** out there that is low carb that I eat, but for certain reasons. Less carbs = less chances of gaining weight. Most people are lazy and don't work out nor diet in their daily routines, so I'd say 90% of this obese world looks at this low carb diet as an easy way to lose weight for the average fat, lazy ****. I think its mad stupid to have all this **** in low-carb form because half of it does'nt even make sense. Lets take the double cheese burger wrapped in a chunk of lettece for example.....
There is no ****ING point for this what-so-ever. Sure you have lower carbs from not having the bun, but you just ate 32g of fat from that greasy ass burger and about 9g of fat from the mayonase and cheese on it. So why eat crap food as a "low carb" food when in reality, it is'nt doing **** for you? Just does'nt make sense. That, I agree... is annoying. Its stupid, however the average lazy, fat ass "thinks" that because it says low carb that its actually worth it.... thats its actually healthy. Thats bull****. For how much fat you're intaking already, you might as well throw the ****in bun on it. There are alot of products like these. And I agree, its mad stupid. However, there are alot of things that make sense that are low carb. For me, its esspecially good when I don't bring made-food with me, so I have to stop off somewhere, and normally I look for stuff with low carbs, but if I'm gonna eat something with low carbs... its gotta make sense. I normally don't like to consume too many carbs throughout the day coz after adding up how much I consume from foods during the day and then add that to how much I consume before, during, and after working out in carb drinks (for energy) ..... I am maxed out. So for me, I HAVE to eat low carb foods, however.... I agree..... its a little outta control and some of it just does'nt make sense.
Purity 05-25-2004, 12:54 PM at least i have the honesty to eat a pound of bacon and say that i don't give a **** about my health.

you better be careful. there's a story of a young man named ryan, age 19. he used to eat like a pig daily when he was a younger, all the time, all day. people would comment, "how do you never gain weight?!", little did they know 8 months later his mother would be buying him jeans sized in "husky". seven years later to this very day, he's still about 35lbs overweight.
it happened to my friend too, he used to weigh about 145lbs, now he's about 172.

nope, it'll never happen. runs in the family. both mom and grandma are the same way. they eat like i do.
Prince 05-25-2004, 01:53 PM don't trust genetics, they will **** you over every time. my dad has a nice tan and i get sunburnt if i walk too slowly going to check the mail. my mom is very intelligent, used to work for NASA now has her own successful company. i went through school with a 2.5GPA and it troubles me to spell "quadratic formula", more less know what it actually is.
handjobs4dollars 05-25-2004, 02:18 PM Me and cesaro have so much in common it's painfull.

No, he slipped and fell and ****ed up his head- died a couple dayts later i believe.
seldomTap 05-25-2004, 08:01 PM I read an interview with Frank Shamrock a while ago where he kind of touched on this same issue.
He was saying that if and when he dropped weight for a fight or he would simply cut out bread, pasta and rice for a few weeks and drink nothing but water. He could drop 9 lbs in 2 weeks doing this he believed.
Same goes, he wouldn't do this for very long, as people doing the whole low carb thing shouldn't do it for very long.
As long as you eat reasonably balanced and are pretty active you should be pretty well right...and if you need ot cut weight fast, cut carbs for a few weeks, but don't go much longer than that...eating is just common sense a lot of the time, sadly common sense aint so common
