TeamXbox: It’s always interesting to see how EA’s sims of March Madness or the Super Bowl play out. We’re curious who’s the pound-for-pound best boxer of all time according to Round 4? Like, is there a guy that all the testers use to dominate?

Fight Night Round 4 team: The obvious answer is that, because Tyson is in the game, he’s the favorite. That’s not because it’s imbalanced or because he’s easier to use. It’s just that people LOVE to use Tyson. We’ve seen it in demos with players that pick up the game for the first time. You can feel a grin come over their face when they choose Tyson. Like “Oh my god…I’m Mike Tyson!! I’m going to kill you!” [chuckles]

The highest rated boxer in the game is Sugar Ray Robinson, though. And that’s mainly because he’s universally accepted as the pound-for-pound best fighter in history. But keep in mind, style makes fights in Round 4, so pretty much anybody in the game can give Sugar Ray a good fight.

Yea, but he wasn't confirmed until now. I mean they dropped guys like De La Hoya, Holyfield, Dempesy, Marciano and Floyd from FNR3&2

Read the article Floyd, De La Hoya, Holyfield and a few others weren't in it because of unrealistic demands. I think it's the 2nd page but im not sure

Man, if i was a huge boxer on the level of say someone like Floyd, i would give anything to be in a game like fight night round 4. Just asking for these stupid demands make's them look greedy twats. Who would want to be paid to be in a game?! You don't have to do any serious work.. jeez.

TeamXbox: The classic lineup in Round 4 is impressive. Was there a classic fighter that you really wanted for the game, but, for whatever reason, it didn’t work out?

Fight Night Round 4 team: Yeah, there are a couple boxers. Holyfield, Mayweather, De La Hoya…and, of course, some of the old guys from Round 3, such as Marciano and Dempsey. The Photo Game face feature makes it pretty easy to create anyone though, as long as you have a high quality image for scanning.

yea they say you can create almost anyone with photo game face, but then watch them have it towhere the last name you can only enter like 8 letters

and KNOWING that ppl are going to create mayweather, smarten up and put nicknames in the game like Pretty Boy, or Money so it will feel like we're actually usin him instead of hearing "KID DYNOMITE" or something like that

i hope in the character maker, you can imput the name of your fighter in recorded phonetics by buffer atlas and tessitore so they actually say the name.....that would be simple as ****, but i laugh at myself at even having the hope....i mean they cant even get the fighters to look like they didnt eat 9 burgers before steping into the ring....

Yea that was stupid about the last game, Ali was wearing NBA trunks.

It's way cooler if they got the authentic trunks, back then they weren't trying to hide their skinny legs.

"Pretty Boy" is not only a totally GAY name, it's 10 letters incl. the space!
