Their hasn't been a rise in terrorist, just a rise in american media reporting it.

only our media reporting it eh? whatever. anywayz, point being, it's gettin a lot more popular.

Actually, other than september 11th, name one major international terrorist attack on american soil in the past 5 years?

Your media is my media. I get cnn, the canadian 24 hour new channel sucks. But when you think about it 24 hour news has just made it seem like their is more. The drag things out when before it was a five min. peice on the 10 o'clock news, we now have a 5 hour topic complete with drawing, graphs and experts disscussing it.

I don't think it's getting more popular at all.

oh it's getting waaayyy more popular. and we can thank the media but my point in that other post was that it's not just our media. it's worldwide media reporting it like a trend. what's worse is that they're reporting the terrorist cause behind every attack and so basically spoon feeding benefits to the perpetrators in the art of terrorism.

Oh my god their is no way terrorism is on the rise. You might be thinking of attacks against a american forces in Iraq. That is not terrorism, it's warfare. You declared war on them and they are fighting to get american forces out of Iraq. Terrorism would suggest a message and somebody taking credit it for it.

i know what terrorism is and i know what warfare is. when you see me confusing the 2 somewhere in this thread then you can make that call.

and it's unresolvable unless someone wants to list every single terrorist activity in the last 15 or so years and then weigh out the overall impact of each one. actually, creed would probably do this.

but it doesn't matter cause that's not the point. the point is that the question of "will the olympics be a target" is like asking if the sun will rise tomorrow morning. so, yes, it will be a target.

yes, it will be a target. Will something actually happen? That remains to be seen, but someone is gonna try some **** for sure
