Rua-Liddell was a great fight. looks like Rua has returned to old form.

the Silva-Leites fight on the other hand, was ridiculously garbage. Obviously the UFC made a mistake puting Leites in there with Silva but Silva also could have done better. He wasn't aggressive enough. Even in the later rounds when he was moving forward more, there were really long periods where silva was just standing there staring at Leites for no reason. He should have just pounced on him from the get go and finished him. Silva could have finished that fight in the 1st round if he wanted to but he is a ***** and fought like one.

Silva has great natural fighting abilities, but his mentallity of fighting really needs to change.

IMO after this fight Liddell really needs to look at his career in perspective.

cut the "I got caught/my opponent got lucky/I was winning the fight anyway" BS

because this time vs Shogun he got caught yet again, and his hands weren't protecting his chin

maybe he should take a page from DLH and retire

this is back to back knockout losses for Chuck who going into this fight was looking to win 2 and get a title shot.

he should really consider retirement, or maybe not fighting for the title because these brutal knockouts are starting to get ugly.
