Kicked, and moved his way to a unanimous decision
over game but out matched challenger Thales Leites.
The fight featured Leites take Silva down early on, but he was unable to do any damage. Silva looked bored at times dropping his hands and walking around the ring. Silva did land enough kicks and strikes to bloody Leites face.

At times ring side fans chanted GSP, then BS.
Another win for Silva.

On the undercard, former light heavy champion Chuck Liddell was knocked out by a left hook from Shogun Rua in the 1st round. Liddell dropped from the punch, Rua jumped on him and rained down a few punches before the referee stopped it. No word on whether he would continue fighting.

he fights to the level of his competition. that **** aint right, but if he doesn't feel his opponent presents a challenge, he coasts through the fight

his two worst performances were against guys who people really didn't care about getting a title shot

But the difference is that you're usually paying for most the card. If you do the math, it's actually worth it.
