He failed his medical for the first affliction due to hepatitis or some ****. Actually, I think he refused the blood test.

I thought I read he was fighting in Russia or something.

Yeah since he left Pride back in 06' he's been fighting in Russia. Had that one match against Werdum in Holland, and one in Canada as well. Last fight was a couple of weks ago against Magomedov which lasted a minute or so.
