Think about Morrisey and The Courtneers? I seen them in concert the other day. Was not impressed i had free tickets.. They were from Ireland or something. I heard they were pretty big over there.

The Courteeners are one of my favourite bands at the moment, give their album a listen to and you might change your opinion of them. Morrisey's solo stuff is ok, but nowhere near as good as his stuff with The Smiths.

Both are from Manchester, but both morrisey and several members of courteeners are of Irish descent.

Morrissey is about 15 years past his prime. At his best, he made some of the greatest albums of all time.

Never got into Morrissey's solo stuff [it's not utter ****e, though], The Smiths however are better than whatever music your listening to right now, even if it's The Smiths. Part of it was due to Johnny Marr's ****ing unbelievable guitar playing. And Morrissey the man himself, while some of his views are undeniably silly imo, he's a goddamn legend, and probably the best lyricist of his generation
