Don't have to answer if you don't want, basically got arrested a month ago on a charge of affray, won't go into detail too much.
Me and a group of mates (bout 10 of us) were kicked off on by 4 lads. Punches being thrown all over the show, I didn't do anything til I've seen a guy go to the floor and I've gone to stamp on him, changed my mind and stepped over him in one big motion. Shows on the CCTV I'm not touchin him but obviously the intent is there. Got to go back to the police station soon to see if I'm being charged or not.
What d'ya reckon I could be lookin at, fine or owt?

If you really feel that you did fook all wrong and the CCTV backs that up then go to court, do not accept a Caution cos its goes on your record and your fooked if you have plans for a job in the future that requires a clean record.

The police will always try to persuade you to accept a Caution, get legal advice and take it too court unless your not bothered but think serious cause it can affect your future, any job requiring a criminal background check will see a caution for Affray and throw your application in the bin.

Shocking that you said you weren't involved until you seen a guy on the floor. Grow some balls and throw a few digs. Surely you punching a guy wouldnt look half as bad as going to stamp on somebodys head.

Yes twice.. When I was 16 and 18. Both offenses were marijuana related.

Only when I was younger about 16 for being drunk and disorderly a couple of times outside a club . One time I was just strolling along me and a couple of friends then bang about 5 coppers jump out the meet wagon and jail us , don't know if one of them said something on the fly tbh but as far as i'm aware it was for f--k all . They got admonished anyway . My criminal record's clean and it's staying that way hopefully .

I got a clean record. The closest I came was when I got heavy handedly thrown out of a shopping centre for being drunk with some mates. They all ran, I thought I could talk to them and smooth things over they were having done of it and threw me out. But did it really need to take three of them? On the plus side a few girls I knew from school were watching and seemed impressed, thinking I must be suprisingly badass. Which is funny because I'm not a badass at all.

The point when I came involved was when the guy threw a tinny at me, not only did he throw it at me, he wasted beer in the process. And I've worded it wrong there, I went for the guy wanting retribution, a mate's got to him before me knocked him to the ground, if he was stood up I'd have punched him but as he going to the floor, was much easier to try and stamp on the guy. Feel like a tit now (sounds cowardly as **** stamping on someone) but it all just went so fast you don't realise what you're doing.

When I was 8 (that's right, 8) me and some friends with a group of like 17 year old kids broke into an office building and smashed up all the computers. luckily the police decided me and my younger pals could go home after we gave the police our home addresses and names, just in case they needed to contact us, but other than that I got off scot free, nothing on my record.

Actually, one of my earliest and funniest memories happened in this incident when a guy we used to call "Mental Derek" (whose idea the whole thing was) threw a circular metal disk through a double glazed window when I claimed they were indestructible. lol..

never been arrested or put in cuffs. I had a close call one time though but they let us go with a verbal warning. Was for loitering/tresspassing.

They did the whole pat down on us and searched our pockets. There was a little grope action by the police officer on me but I wasnt going to say anything and it worked out ok.

I was glad to cause I just turned 18 and my mate was still 17. So lucky I dont have that on my record.

This made me laugh out loud.

From my experience affray is quite a serious offense especially if it is all caught on CCTV. One of my best friends got sent to the pen for 6 months for more or less the same thing (affray) and he had a clean record before hand. He kicked someone while they were on the floor on CCTV (he's a bit of a wet fart)

I'm no expert but I imagine that because you were with the group who we're fighting and you showed intent to cause injury to someone (especially while they were on the floor lol) the court may see that as being involved somehow so may charge you for that. If you can 100% prove you caused no injury to the person then you should be ok depending on how good your lawyer is.

Either way 10 vs 4 and about to boot someone while they were down all on CCTV is ****ing dumb lol

You were going to stamp on someone’s head while they were down on the floor? that’s nice.
The closest I been was when someone reported that i had a raped someone, but it was a complete misunderstanding i had broken down on the motorway and had to walk to the petrol station with my mate and his girl, she was a bit drunk and fell into the bushes and me and my mate went in there to get her out and some idiot that drove past thought we were raping her, the police even phoned my mum and told her i had been accused of rape and they brought out a police helicopter to find me lol.

Where's this sta, ping on the head part come from? Never said I went to stamp on the guy's head it was actually his side, and like I said I stepped over him, rather than actually stamp on him, you can see that on the CCTV.

Well after all that, having been messed about with bail dates being changed, I've been given a caution.

Ive had a few good brushes with the law over the years but mostly before i was 23 (i'm 26 now). Ive been charged twice since then and got tagged late last year for 4 months before going to court and getting a heavy fine. Got caught on CCTV smashing a prick from my town who had been hastleing a family member of mine. Most of my charges from back in the day consisted of me and my mates going looking for poon in other towns around the county and getting into scraps with the other lads from those towns. Got 2-3 affray charges (its called breach of the peace up here in Scotland) a few assualts and one or two vandalisms. One of my vandalisms was for trying to get back in a pub we'd booted from and i put my foot through the glass panel of the door trying to get to a snide who'd rattled me when my back was turned, the other was for chucking a bottle at a taxi. Its not to bad these days since a new bar opened in my town, most of the poon comes to us now.
