View Full Version : "Crutchmaster" Interview GNP 05-04-2004, 09:15 PM I talked with Duane a good long time, this guy is cool as ****, come see what he says  http://groundnpound.org/content.php?content.3 Mr Boogaloo 05-07-2004, 04:37 AM Did I miss something here? What is the man's disability? DOGGx0 05-07-2004, 12:00 PM Yea, that was an awesome read. Duane is a good guy, has many accomplishments. Seems like a real character. But yea, I was wondering too.... what is his disability?? GNP 05-11-2004, 11:30 AM Sorry guys, I just wanted to interview him without bringing that particular point to the surface, I wanted to interview him in a way others have not. He is a great guy and here is whats wrong. At 3 years old Duane was diagnosed with tumors in his spine which robbed him of 30% function in his lower body. Duane was very lucky to be alive and suffered paralysis for many years, after eight years old he was able to get around with crutches. Despite this disability, Duane started competing as a teenager and has been a wrestler and martial artist from his early childhood. Here is a great article on Duane if you would like more http://knovamind.com/index.php?well_id=2&url_publish_channel_id=145 DOGGx0 05-11-2004, 11:56 AM Thats horrible. Looks like he has been nothing but strong throughout this whole thing. Hes definately a person to admire. Thanks for the read and the extra info., david. much appreciated. |
