I would say that I'm getting tested and would ask her if she wanted to come with me.

Saying we should get tested is alot better then saying you should be tested.

If you have been saying it like that and she still says no,she has something to hide.

Yeah, because telling a woman you want to get tested for STDs is a big turn on.

Do it this way. Just tell her an ex of your tested positive for something, but she found out who she got it from and thankfuly it was after you slept with her. Then say you want to be tested just in case.

Then ask her if she wants to get tested herself, you know, just in case.

This way it looks like no ones fault except for your slutty ex girlfriend

its all about mutual respect. asking her to come with you to get tested should show her enough that you not only care about yourself, but you want to be sure you are safe for her. just word it nicely and explain that you dont think shes dirty or diseased but you would like to both be responsable and healthy. If she gets mad over that then maybe you should question even being with her.

If she doesn't want to get tested, then she doesn't give a damn about you. Don't worry about offending her, Gman and Creed have good ideas. If she still won't get tested, dump her.

Ben you should also ask her when was the last time she had any check ups, a female should get a check up every 4 to 6 months, having sex or not having sex, its clean and no worries, another way you can get her to the clinic is telling her you would feel safer going bare back if she was on the pill or another fourm of birth control, before they put females on any type of birth control, its mandatory they give the girls paps, pregnancy tests and STD tests.

I'd go with what Agony said. Act like its mandatory for people to go every 4-6 months just because of different partners, etc. And also take note what Agony said , which I did'nt know till now..

So maybe find out if she has had partners during the time she has had birth control available to her. If not, then looks like you already got your HIV test from her, without requesting it.

Actually, you can still get pregnant even if you aren't getting your periods. Less likely, yes. NO form of bc is 100% effective.

Another issue you need to worry about (even though you mention this already) is pregnancy.

Sure she may say she's on the pill and if she did get pregnant she will abort, etc. But how well do you TRUST her? I know great guys with absolute trust in their women and when the issue came up (sooner or later it usually does), the woman "changed her mind" leaving the guy with no say in the matter. I've seen it happen Vulgar and it has killed relationships and destroyed lives. So think carefully on this.

When it comes to pregnancy, women have 100% say whether she will get the abortion or not. At best, a man gets a token vote. At the end of the day, men have no say in it. A condom is about the only insurance you can take as a man to prevent against unplanned pregnancy and most STDs.

If there is any doubt or trust issues at all in your relationship or you simply don't know the girl that well, use your head and wear a condom. Infact, I would go one step further and say do not **** without a condom unless you totally trust your woman and you are ready for a child.

Most pregnancies I know of that were unplanned the woman was supposedly on the pill at the time.

In all these cases, the man did not use a condom either. Also to make matters worse, the woman typically did something to screw up the effectiveness of the pill as well.

Ie. not taking pills at the right time, getting drunk or being sick and throwing them up, etc.

Already you can see how easily preventable this would all have been with proper precautions or failing that, abstinence.

they also tell you for the first month of using the pill, always use a 2nd form protection, because it takes a month to two months to work, its not like you take one pill and your protected, thats why they have the day after pill, those thing are the ****, and 75 bucks,lol.

I was married at the time I got pregnant and had been on the pill for several months. It was only 10 months of being married before having her. Of course, this was nearly 19 years ago too. The pill has improved some. I don't know too much about the ring or iud's since I had my tubes tied. No more babies for this body.

Look really the only thing you can do is just up and ask her. Like a few of the other posters said, go together. Then you both will know for a fact that you’re clean. When I was with past partners I would always ask before we did anything if they had been tested, it was kind of hard to bring up, but once I said something they were very cool about it and had no prob telling me whatever I asked of them, and we always used a condom anyway and I was/ still am, on the pill.

my girl is on the pill, so no condom for me. Tearing that **** up raw. I just don't see a point in wearing a condom if she is on the pill.
