Tyson in his prime would kill Tua, right now who would win my friends?

I think this one would be a slugfest for 2 maybe 3 rounds before someone got dropped, most likely Tua.

I think if Tua comes into this matchup in decent shape, he beats Tyson. In the primes, Tyson easily.

Right now Tua is probably closer to 300 lbs than to his fighting weight. Tyson wins by TKO in the sixth round I'd say.

a definite head on collision fight, that would very entertaining. Can't go past Tyson on that one.

this is one of those fights that it's ashame never happened. It's not like Dempsey v.s. Ali, were time just never meant for it to happen. I actually think this fight today because of their styles would be pretty much the same if they made it 6 or 7 years ago. I'd go with Tyson by decision.

Tyson in his prime is definatley one of the greatest boxers of all time, He would destroy tua. In his prime Tyson had a jaw of steel, Quick, poweful, explosive punching that would make short work of the relativley slow, lumbering Tua. Present day Tyson vs Tua would be a very interesting match indeed, very close although.

Interesting fight that Tyson could win. I wouldn't say for sure that he would though. Tua has the stronger chin and is the harder puncher but Tyson was quicker, and had better all around skills and a MUCH better defense. I'm a fan of Tua so I'd root for him, but I think Mike's aggression and handspeed would conquer Tua's size and strength.

Still, Tyson never fought a guy with Tua's punch. He was seriously hurt by Ruddock who, while certainly a hard puncher, wasn't quite in Tua's league. If Tua's monstrous left hook connected flush, a knockout or a stoppage would be possible.

hmmm let see lewis knocked out tyson and couldnt even drop tua.. which states tua has a better chin..tua has never been knocked down and lets say i cant say the same about tyson..and lets just say they both punched about the same.the avantage still goes to tua..until we see tua knocked down you cant say anybody would of knocked him down no foreman no shavers no anybody.tua in 3 if a glass chin douglas could ko him then why wouldnt tua?and dont give me that tyson was washed up against douglas bull the man was 24 or 25 and if he ko'd douglas in one nobody would of said well tyson is getting old he might lose soon..buster made him look old because he stood up to the bully and beat his ass down.buster had no chin and tua has a great one.plain and simple tyson goes down and goes back to beating up robin givens

They are similar in style, and they both have power and chin. I think Tyson is more shot though and would tire sooner than would Tua. So I would have to go with Tua on this one. A ko by 5-6.
