That Bush is sending american troops to die and killing thousands (maybe millions) of people just so old white men can be rich.

Death, war, destruction, pain, anquish, and creating even more reason for people to hate the western world. Is a tank of gas really worth it?

No, it's the suppliers not making the gas. The war does not affect the price as much as you think it does.

Then why are we in iraq anyway? Why not just develop an artifical gas? Are you telling me it can't be done? Are you telling me that a socitey that developed the internet, stem cell research and put a man into space can't come up with a gas subsitute from corn oil insted of crudel oil?

We do that, get out of iraq and giving the world a reason to hate us

Because if you got rid of gas all of a sudden, the world would be tunred up side down and thier would be so many shifts in the money world that I hope we never run out of gas.

I tell you something, son. I was chatting with my boy Creed on AIM the other day I was surprise to find that we think somwhow alike in many different issues. I have a new found respect for mr. Creed as long as he stays the F out of the MMA forum.

The war in Irak? Well, I support the troops. I have many friends serving and would love to see them comeback soon, and in one piece.
I could go on for hours about this issue, but I won't in a forum. Like I said before, I wanna see all those soldiers comeback as soon as possible. I know better than to start arguing with conservative christians.

I am in the same boat as bubbles. I support our troops, don't think this is all over gas, i could talk about my feelings on this forever, which in turn this thread could get ugly since its sucha controversial subject. the end.

This war should have never started. They should have left Iraq alone and kept searching for Bin Laden. We are wasting to many resources on assumptions (of weapons of mass destruction) and not on finding the true menace. Bin Laden...

I never said I was against the war, but the fact remains that Bush is the dumbest world leader that ever lived. I think we SHOULD go get that oil. I'm all about the finances. Anyway, just because we have a tard for a president doens't mean I'm not gonna vote for him, he still gives me lower taxes than those **** Kerry and Nader. I hate just thinking about what I would've had to pay this year if one of those guys was in office. Besides Bush IS stupid compared to anyone else near his rank. Straight C's all the way through at a University he never would've gotten into if his daddy didn't pull a few strings.

First off, its a touchy subject depending on how you view Bush. He is actually a country leader, but looked at as a WORLD LEADER because of how much power America has, in general. If we were going to compare him to other country leaders, then I would have to say Saddam for one, need more? I got more...

If you're talkin about as a world leader, then sure, that might be true... being as there are'nt many, and the ones that are seem to be hardly recognized due to incapability and not caring enough.

WRONG DUMB****. The democrats always want to add more programs to help the poor, the stupid and the young(education) and it ends up coming out of our pockets where as the rebuplican party strives for smaller government and less government regulation/intervention for business, and because of what I do for a living as an independent personnel consultant my taxes would go up considerably. It affects alot more people than merely the top 5% or 10%.

Dude, you told me yourself you get screwed at tax time because none of your paycheck goes toward taxes because of what you do for a living. You gotta pay it all at tax time.

Frankly Blue, I think that we should have more programs to help the poor the sick and the young. Its the NIMBY theroy at work again. Not In My Back Yard. Everyone has talked about it, from George Carlin to the highest levels of goverment. People don't want to give up anything they have to help someone else. Well guess what? You live in america. America is the country that gave you the chance to learn a living and make your money. You need to and frankly should be HAPPY to pay back a part of that to help make that country stronger and a better place to live.

You don't like paying taxes? Make less money. Period

Its okay if a powerful nation abuses from a smaller one, and even better if steals oil in order to maintain its economy. Besides whats the problem most casualties in iraq are hispanic and black people. Since Mr. Bush has given work to a lot of my conationals that are willing to die for some action is ok. Right now Im thinking about recruitment since I dont have a job, Im an expert in fecaletudo, but at the same time I agree with the preachings of prophet Mahomo so its difficult to choose a side.

In 1980, the richest Americans payed over 70% in federal income tax. Now, they pay only 38%. If they were still paying 70%+, they would still be filthy rich, and the government would have TRILLIONS of dollars in revenue. Enough to solve every money-related problem. National free health care? Fully-funded public schools? Those and much more would have been possible, but no.

What do I think of war that's killed hundreds of U.S. soldiers, thousands of Iraqi civilians, and will cost taxpayers more than $1 billion?
Absolute bull**** is what I think.
And since we're on the topic of lies and deception, let's look at some of the gigantic pantloads that Dumbya and his Cold War cronies have heaped upon the American people:

Lie #1-Iraq has weapons of mass destruction.
Nope. None found. It's gotten so embarrassing that the Dumbya administration is focusing their efforts now on "the intent to produce weapons of mass destruction." What a load of ****.
Lie #2-Iraq has 500 tons of chemical weapons.
Nope. None found.
Lie #3-Hussein has ties to Al Qaeda.
To this day, no evidence has been produced whatsoever linking Al Qaeda to Hussein.
Lie #4-Iraq refused to let U.N. inspectors do their job.
Nope. U.N. inspectors went into Iraq to search for possible weapons violations from December 2002 into March 2003.

Too many lies that's costing us too many lives, with no end in sight. Meanwhile, companies like Bechtel and Halliburton, who were exclusively awarded the largest contracts to "rebuild" Iraq by Dumbya's administration, are raking in millions. And at the same time, they were caught overcharging the U.S. military.
Speaking of Halliburton, ol' Dick Cheney admittedly still has financial ties to the company. Good for him.

I don't watch the news or listen to his speeches very often. The few times that I do get to hear him speak, I wonder to myself how he became president of the most powerful country in the world. Plain and simple, he's a moron and it's very evident in almost everything he says.

When Clinton was in office I respected this country a whole lot more than I do now. It's truly shameful for us to allow this C student to become our president.

If anyone thinks he has any good qualities, please share them with me, cause I've haven't seen any.
