I dont necessarily follow it because most of the food I eat either are low in calories or get bruned really quick. Alot of fruits, white rice, white meat, fish, lean beef. Typical asian meals.

Low calorie TV dinners is my secret. I ate 2 enchiladas, rice and beans and it was only 340 calories. I can eat 3 or 4 of those and be good for the day. I also drink water and sometimes put the little packets in them for flavor. Those are 5 calories a packet. I also have other TV dinners that are 240 calories, those have dessert included also.Haha. Oh I drink diet soda too.
Spartacus Sully 04-11-2009, 02:36 AM make some fish? cod is 15 grams of protein and 70 calories chicken is decent for the proteins that you get out of it tuna with some oil and lemon juice maybe some herbs but tuna has mercury so not much a week vegetables are good low cal and fill you right up switching from whole milk to skim and almost only drink water other then that and fruit juices and beer

WHat company makes those tv dinners??? I live in Fort Worth, Tx like 4 hours north of san antone........... so maybe i can find the tv dinners up here where i live.
stacatto99 04-11-2009, 03:43 PM What works for me. My trainer has vouched for this method. for your first month you should eat a very high protein/low carb diet. fish chicken beans, your body will start to burn the excess fat from your body as a means of energy rather than burn the carbs. keep doing your roadwork and stick your gym schedule. after a month or so you will have less and less energy and feel tired, but you will have lost the fat, then switch to a higher carb diet.
alza1988 04-11-2009, 04:04 PM What I do on cut days is hardly eat anything at night and do a good harcore conditioning session at night that way you get used to empty calories . Your supposed to burn more calories than you consume losing weight but if you get your calories from unhealthy fats your body finds it hard to break fat down for energy so it stores it as fat . I heard your body burns carbs first once they're empty protein then fat burning loss etc .
Spartacus Sully 04-11-2009, 04:42 PM Olive oil and peanut butter are very good fats omega 3 in the peanut butter i think. olive oil goes well with fish chicken and eggs and peanut butter goes well with celery carrots and apples if you dont like raw carrorts a hand full or so of baby carrorts covered in peanut butter will fill you up pretty fast and take you 20 minuets to eat

I do the same thing. They got all kinds of different brands. Just go to the grocery store & head for the frozen food isle. I usually go with lean cuisine. Also note that you should eat a lot of salads, they are very low in calories, fill you up, & they're good for you.
I get mine at burger king. $1 for a side salad w/ dressing & croutons (i usually get 2 a day).

at BK they got some light dressing that's low on fat. the dressing isn't a big deal if u do plenty of cardio (which i'm sure u do anyway if ur a boxer). aside from that, its a drop in the ocean compared to a lot of other stuff people let slide.
