View Full Version : Tyson Fury vs David Price kswizzy99 04-07-2009, 01:42 AM who would win? vote/discuss TRAVI$ 04-07-2009, 07:58 AM Tyson Fury would lose via a Tyson Fury KO. Rocky. 04-07-2009, 09:14 AM Its to early to tell imo The Monk 04-07-2009, 09:15 AM Tyson Fury would lose via a Tyson Fury KO. That of course is a definate possibility, but failing that I think Fury drops and stops Price with the first solid punch he lands. MickyHatton 04-07-2009, 01:38 PM Having known Price since he was a kid I have to back him. The lad has real underrated power and great overall skills not to mention a decent chin. Fury talks a good fight but IMO lacks a real punch for a big guy and has poor conditioning. Therefore I see Price becoming the better fighter and if and when they meet then I would go for Price. Clegg 04-07-2009, 02:50 PM I think Price would take him to school. Fury would probably go for an early KO and be made to look stupid as he missed wildly and took flush shots. In terms of technique and skill, the gap between them is pretty big. The RealDeal 04-07-2009, 03:12 PM Its to early to tell imo Agreed, lets see more fghts behind them first.. paul750 04-07-2009, 03:32 PM He could maybe fight the big Scott Belshaw fella? paul750 04-11-2009, 02:18 PM I've just noticed that Belshaw was actually beaten by the guy Tyson Fury beat. I don't know what on Earth happened there. Belshaw did beat him in a rematch, though. Rocky. 04-11-2009, 03:44 PM I've just noticed that Belshaw was actually beaten by the guy Tyson Fury beat. Theirs a big scottish hevyweight called ian millarvie dont know if hes still boxing or not, but he would be a good test for fury. paul750 04-11-2009, 03:50 PM That belshaw is a joke, fury would destroy him. Theirs a big scottish hevyweight called ian millarvie dont know if hes still boxing or not, but he would be a good test for fury. I've watched a few of Belshaw's fights, and although he doesn't look great, he doesn't look any worse than fury. He was highly thought of when he started his pro career. It would be nice to have a decent UK heavyweight come along with a bit of finesse, and not just these big tall guys with hardly any skill. paul750 05-20-2009, 01:46 PM He could maybe fight the big Scott Belshaw fella? Looks like he's going to now. In fairness, Belshaw isn't that great. But He is big and will be good for Fury at this point in his career. Dem Eyes 05-20-2009, 01:51 PM Fury is fighting Belshaw this weekend. Probably gonna be on ITV4? Miguelthedog 05-21-2009, 06:46 AM I am really torn between who I think would win this fight. Fury has looked pretty decent in his pro career so far, still very raw but his wins have been more impressive than the other Brit prospects over the same opponents. Price has the amature pedigree and looked good last time out so I would imagine he will turn out better if he can keep his head safe and keep the power up. Fury is a prick and Price seems ok so I want Price to win but at the moment I would edge towards Fury to by slugging a KO. Dem Eyes 05-21-2009, 06:51 AM Hasn't Price got a suspect chin though? JmtRyan 05-21-2009, 05:38 PM Yeh i thought Price had a pretty suspect chin too. Infern0 05-21-2009, 05:41 PM I pick Fury to win, havent seen enough of Price to back him yet The RealDeal 05-21-2009, 07:12 PM Fury to loose by self KO. kswizzy99 05-26-2009, 02:24 AM I've watched a few of Belshaw's fights, and although he doesn't look great, he doesn't look any worse than fury. I guess you were wrong about that. |
