his last 2 albums werent that great. hopefully he goes back to the level he was when he released "black star" with talib kweli and when he released black on both sides.....mos is easily one of the best alive when he's on...

Mos fell off. Actually he didn't he wast just into other ventures especially acting. So I'm sure that's where a lot of his "fire" was lost. He has the ability to drop a dope album. But will he?

I'm more looking forward to Kweli's next album. Because Ear Drum was fire.

I actually liked The New Danger, but didn't really feel True Magic very much.

I'm slightly anticipating the new Reflection Eternal album more though, Tek kinda fell off as of late but the leaked track doesn't sound bad at all. Loved their first album.

i am super excited for this album. i love Mos Def.

i like true magic a lot actually, even when mos is off he is better than 95% of whats released.

no one is anticipating this cd away from the internet, mos def fell the **** off. His music is garbage now, i wont even waste the space on my hard drive with this trash.

I really liked the new danger. and I heard that True Magic was just a bunch of unfinished business slapped together to honor his contract for Geffen records. So, I'm not all that skeptical about it, watch, it'll be crazy.

Hopefully. Early on I thought he was better than Kweli. Now I rank Kweli above Mos. His last two and Mos' last two have made the difference.

I agree, Kweli's discog>Mos'. Talib's just flat out more consistent. I've got high hopes for this and the next Reflection Eternal album though. Like I said before, leaked tracks from both are nice.

2 more leaked tracks...I'm feelin all three, Mos is back.

This makes me more optimisstic about it, but It's so close until it leaks so I'm just gonna wait it out.

^Yeah, I'm definetely coppin' this & Double Barrel next Friday, as for the album... It's his first solo that can contend with Black On Both Sides (imo), the production is solid and Mos' lyricism is generally centered around delivering a good message as ussual. Just like I predicted 'Audiotorium' is fvckin badass, and probably my favorite track on the album. I thought him making the album longer would be a terrible move but it turned out well, even though I think the original tracklist would have been just fine, he added a few 1-2 minute tracks like No Hay Nada Mas, the Embassy, Worker's Comp., etc. that add to the album.

I love the fact he only has 3 features on this too, he shows he can carry an entire album by himself, you see so many artists these days droppin' solo's that include all of their mc friends and their mothers...

This'll probly sound gay as hell but 'Roses' is a beautiful song. I also like the little tweaks he made to 'Life In Marvelous Times', it couldn't get much better but surprisingly it did.

This is probably the best and my favorite hip-hop album out this year aside from Double Barrel, both are very well put together, great albums I see being considered classics in the future.
