P90x, I haven't really been in shape since the summer when I got down to 155.

Got the dvd for free thanks to a friend, I want to get back into shape so I'm gonna do the exercises and follow a low carb, high protein diet since my metabolism is absolute ****!

Stats right now:

Height: 5'11
Weight: 176... give or take a pound
Body Fat (Used a scale): around 18%
Abdomen: 33 inches
Waist: 36 inches
belly button area where most of my fat is!: 35.5
Biceps: 13 inches...Stopped lifting weights a long time ago.
Forearm: 10 inches
Wrist: 6 inches... Holy hell I've got a small ass frame!
Chest not expanded: 40.5 inches
Middle of thigh: 22.2 inches
Upper Thigh (a lot of fat ): 23.6 inches
Neck: 15 inches
Calves: 15 inches

How the hell can I have a 36 inch waist but wear a 32 in jeans???

I only eat around 1,500-1,800 cals daily but I gain weight like nothing if I eat a burger or something unhealthy .

Just made this post to make myself motivated, some of the workouts are hard as hell, especially the abdominal exercises. Gonna keep my diet clean, cut out soda, mainly drink water, and do the exercises as instructed.

I'll update this in around a month, hopefully it'll be a surprise. I don't plan on gaining a bunch of muscle, I plan on getting more toned and shed that damn fat off of my belly button area. So lean muscle is what I'll probably get, I'd like to get a bit stronger since I can only bench 160 and curl 90.

My step dad uses P90X. I used it for a couple of weeks and i liked it. But im kinda chunky. Im 5'8 135lbs but my body fat % is about 13-14. So i decided to loose all the fat i can and then do the P90X. Hopefully i can start it during the summer.

My step dads arms got bigger and he got overall stronger, however he doesn't eat healthy. If he ate healthier, he would have a better physique(No homo).

You can download the P90X program on most torrent sites. I've heard a lot of good reviews about it.

An exercise program, they use "Muscle confusion" to maximize the results, it's a bunch of DVD's that has you do certain workouts on certain days like chest and back 1 day and legs the other etc. The workouts last an hour but are pretty damn intense. Basically an exercise DVD with good workouts. Expensive as hell though like $150

Right now I just got done with the plyometrics, I did all of the workouts :boxing:.

It had a lot of squat themed exercises and jumping n **** like that. I held 30lb dumb bells while doing the squats to try and get the most out of it. My legs were feeling pretty wobbly.

I failed at the chest and back which required me to do a bunch of pull ups but since my wrists are messed up I can barely do any so I just lifted dumbells and hit the heavybag for 15 mins to try and compensate. My chest is really weak so I couldn't do that many push ups. They had me doing diamond pushups, regular, wide, and other types of push ups along with some exercise to work out the lats.

Here is what the routine looks like:

WEEKS 1-3

Day 1 - Chest & Back, Ab Ripper X
Day 2 - Plyometrics
Day 3 - Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper X
Day 4 - Yoga X
Day 5 - Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X
Day 6 - Kenpo X
Day 7 - Rest or X Stretch

Well DUH youll get in shape if you work out 6 days a week, even if you do *shudder* yoga. A monkey could put together a 6 day a week routine and itd get you in shape. Not bashing the routine but it isnt the holy grail of fitness, the thing is if you get off your ass youll get in shape. Heck if you get off your ass with weight on your back people call it a squat and its one of the best exercises ever! :P
