vB Martin 11-14-2004, 12:55 AM he instigates 65 more clinches than landed punches and still won the fight? WTF???????
Tha Greatest 11-14-2004, 01:05 AM haha damn man
that was 166 clinches
im still upset bout my bet
i'm suprised golota didnt low blow ruiz after that many clinches
Keleneki 11-14-2004, 01:10 AM Heh, I was kind of hoping for Golota to start fouling The Quietman's pole. Being that it was a relatively clean fight (knowing both fighter's histories), I thought that GOlota deserved the decision. He still seems to have quite a bit left.
Soundtraveler 11-14-2004, 07:08 AM he instigates 65 more clinches than landed punches and still won the fight? WTF???????
Damn, I have never even HEARD of a fighter who holds that much and didn't get DQ'ed - that is a real shame for the sport of boxing... :o
NO points taken away for holding? NONE? WHY? HOW?
mr. bojangles 11-14-2004, 09:17 AM Damn, I have never even HEARD of a fighter who holds that much and didn't get DQ'ed - that is a real shame for the sport of boxing... :o

Yeah, why no points deducted? If my memory serves me right, Henry Akinwande was DQ'd for excessive holding vs. Lennox Lewis!
mr. bojangles 11-14-2004, 09:18 AM Two words. DON KING
BrooklynBomber 11-14-2004, 09:19 AM I watched the fight and I gotta say it was a complete horse**** with peanuts on top of it(I mean 2 KD's). Ruiz hugged so much I thought he was gonna break Golota's reabs. I am in disgust. Ruiz is abomination to boxing.
whdempsey 11-14-2004, 11:09 AM We ought to organize a coup. Throw this rat bastard out of office. Sort of. You know what I'm getting at.
bigdlb12 11-14-2004, 11:18 AM I just missed my bet

but damn 166 hugs, John RUiz must love Golata
Hey I have a new for my new ****
Ruiz loves Golata
vB Martin 11-14-2004, 12:28 PM Actually, it's 186 Ruiz instigated clinches. I didn't add the 4 clinches that Golota instigated.
Ruiz had 50% more clinches than landed punches. This was the most boring fight I have ever seen.
RussianArm 11-14-2004, 12:43 PM Hah , I thought Ruiz lost the fight, he was down several times and really got pounded, I don;t know what fight the refs saw.
bigdlb12 11-14-2004, 01:15 PM Hey I have a name for my new ****
"Ruiz loves Golata"

Three things from me today ......
No. 1. If boxing fans ever needed to rally, it's now. Who do we start emailing, calling and writing to, as of right now? Unloading in this forum is a good start, but preaching to the converted is useless.
No. 2. SUPREMECY ..... didn't see it last night. And won't see it with judging like that.
No. 3. GOLOTA ...... I'm on his side because of his last two performances, not because he's been robbed both times. He's big, he's athletic, he can bang, he's proved his chin, he's matured, he's beaten two reigning champs in his last two fights!
Ranger2408 11-14-2004, 02:11 PM don king has to go, Boxing is appalling right now, i live in a huge place with hundreds of stores and cannot buy any boxing magazines or find any boxing paraphenalia. Even ESPN i cant find any boxing, is football, football
