Now, I read most of his discworld novels, and he is supposed to be very popular in Britain, so are any of you fans?

Yes, I have read every one of the designated discworld novels, most of the kids ones and some of the supplementary material.

He's an atheist you know.

Well, if I did not know, reading Small Gods would make it quite clear. Anyway, Small Gods and Good Omens were amongst thebooks which developed my view on religion.
Pratchett was pretty much the one who explained the difference between G-d and religion to me.

There's a guy at my work who is always reading a Terry Pratchett book every lunchtime and he's bloody idiot so he is. To be honest it's put me off the Terry fella as I associate the wee Terry lad with the eejit at work.

I've read a few of his discworld and some of his kids books. They're OK, I haven't read any since I was about 12 but I used to love them.
