DA1CATAS 04-01-2009, 10:41 PM Oh man this looks great... looks like you got robbed from what I saw.... I like your activity and your movement... Do you think you could push yourself to another level byond how your fighting here...
You look to be aggressive but with good control.. Once I tap my gloves together I lose my mind and can't box any longer.... Even though its served me well I gotta learn to control myself they way you look to be controling yourself here...
You should box all the time at a certain level.. and then have a breaking point.. and then your full all out.. Then your Other person.. and I don't mean alter ego lol.. and a sign at which your other person comes out.
Your fight excited the shi outta me... i like ther way you were moving and the way when he pressed how you returned promptly.. I'mma shut up before someone calls me a KingJames nuthugger or sumthin.

Lol thanks...man all I can say is that I gotta go back to the drawing board and try again...i think i need to do a lil more roadwork though and push myself a little harder in the gym. **** im trying to get a belt like you lol
Versastyle 04-02-2009, 12:48 AM Good work in there. Yeah, roadwork does wonders. It's good for you mentally in the ring too. You don't have to be thinking about how you're tired. That can take a toll on you, instead of you thinking of your next move in the ring.

Wow.. I have never heard it put that way Vers... Gonna throw you 5,000 for that.. That was good.
Even with my conditioning I always think about getting tired or not. That was a gem you dropped.:beerchug::ok::boxing:

Appreciate it. It's the truth, it's a big issue with most ppl. Think about what you're going to do instead of thinking you're tired and you forget you're not tired. Head games.

Chicago boxing is REALLY corrupt....and he fought out of the gym that sponsored the Gloves...
!! Shawn 04-02-2009, 11:46 PM Everyone is big upping you, but its time for a dose of the truth.
There where times in that round where you absolutely fell apart, lost your cool and had no mind what so ever for defense. When you were taking your time, you looked pretty good. Good footwork and such, but when you attacked, you basically dropped your hands to your waist and started swinging, granted, you were throwing some very nice straight punches, but going after someone with your hands down is the most sure fire way to get put on your ass. I can't even count how many times I have seen it happen.
If you are not thinking about what is going to be coming back, you are not going to see what is coming back, and if you do not see what is coming back, you are going to get yourself in trouble.
I know you are better than that. You have the technical ability to do it right, just work on getting your head in the right place and you will do great.
!! Shawn 04-02-2009, 11:48 PM Im guessing you were in better condition than the kid, and gave up points in the first two rounds when he was fresher.
