with my son's room and he's being a little sh**. I'm gonna kill him by the end of the day if he doesn't stop taking shortcuts.

The red walls are painted with a blue ceiling which I still have clouds to put on it with another surprise which I will *show* you all later. The baseboards are cut (I really do love my miter saw) waiting to be painted black, the floor is installed and the window sill still needs a second coat of paint and the so does the door and frame.

The desk is painted and ready to be moved into his room, the glass top ordered, the rug I found at the thrift store for only $12 is getting the edges squared off and binded so it won't ravel (that's costing more than that doggone rug, but the rug is worth as it's PLUSH)

All it's going to take to be finished is a little more hard work and he keeps NOT doing what I tell him to do to get to the the next step! I just threatened him with the butt board and he's up there working fine now. I need to just use that damn board.

Oh yeah, gotta pull out all those posters. Anyone have an extra poster of Dale Earnhardt? I need one for the surprise......

Sounds like you guys are really haulin ass. We're still puttin together our place, and it's lookin GREAT thanks to a lot of contributive help from Shara and her mom. :ghost:

Glad you hear your place is coming together. It's easier to relax when your place is done....I can't wait for mine to be done.

We laid out the ceramic floor tiles last night and daughter #2 came up with an awesome pattern for it. Hopefully that will be done by the end of the week....so much to do and so little time.

Painting done. Curtains up. Baseboards installed. Floor cleaned. Desk moved in. Son is happy. So am I.

Still some work to do, like figure out where he's going to hang all those posters we got for $1 each, including the framed ones. Lots to do, but he's back into his room!!!! Yay!!
