g0tcha 03-30-2009, 02:58 AM only if i my head was a size large hah.
RightHooker 03-30-2009, 10:15 AM Why are you selling it then? I can't afford it and I don't think it would fit me, but if you say why you're selling it, it might make people more likely to buy so they don't think there is something wrong with it.
nothings wrong with it, i just never use it. i spar with USA boxing approved headgear and never even get this out of my bag, I'll trade it for a pair of Grant pro training gloves if anyones willing to do that. also, it first SMALL for large, i never would have guessed i'd be wearing a large, my hat size is 7 1/4, and this headgear fits me perfect.
I3C727 03-30-2009, 02:23 PM man too bad i already bought one of these, great deal you never see winning **** for sale cheaper then retail.
someone pick this up.
RightHooker 03-30-2009, 04:24 PM it first SMALL for large, i never would have guessed i'd be wearing a large, my hat size is 7 1/4, and this headgear fits me perfect.
Probably because it's Japanese. I don't have any boxing stuff from there but I've got a couple shirts/jackets and you have to order one size up from what you usually would wear.

There's nothin' better, bro.
Man, I've only worn Fairtex(covers the cheek) and Everlast(covers the cheek), but the Winning's w/ the face bar nothing tops it.
still here, no ones interested?
Pork Chop 04-01-2009, 12:16 PM still here, no ones interested?
You posted this one day too late.
My buddy wanted to try winning because no other head gear stays on his head without slipping.
We had a talk about it on the 29th and he went ahead and bought himself a black headgear from the winning-usa site that same day.
sorry man
haha no thats alright man, no one out there has a pair of grants they wanna trade for this?
Pacmanjay 04-02-2009, 12:07 AM I'm interested, where are you located?
Would you be interested in a equally worn (used exactly once) Cleto Reyes Headgear (white Medium - same as Winning Large) as a trade?
NeXt In Line 04-02-2009, 03:16 PM Only thing I'd be able to actually trade you is a pair of Black Everlast Training Gloves that I have. I just copped some Title GEL ones, so I wouldn't want to give those up, and I'm wella ware that Everlast Training Gloves aren't worth as much as a piece of Winning headgear. Could maybe shoot you some extra cash along with em? :boxing:
Haha, I'm lookin for this since you're selling it cheaper than usual.
i might be able to hook it up, what size r the everlast gloves, send me some a link to the exact model of them. im off to the gym right now, but ill hit u up later 2nite.
Most likely going to be trading this, any final offers?
NeXt In Line 04-03-2009, 04:43 PM http://www.robbinssports.com/sporting-goods-store/images/everlast-boxing-hook-and-loop-bag-training-gloves.jpg
They're the older model of Everlast, the website basically has just the newer **** up, but mine are black and are pretty much those gloves lol.
They are 16 OZ.
rj_ct 04-03-2009, 05:44 PM possibly looking to trade my imf-techs 18 oz. lace ups for a pair 16 oz lace ups (maybe reyes, grant, or another pair of ringsides). the imfs are used, but still good condition. nothing wrong with them, i just want 16s.
i also have a title platinum full face (not face bar) i'd be willing to throw in to balance out the trade. only used 2 or 3 times.
this is still for sale, the dude with the reyes headgear backed out. offer up, i want this gone.

I didn't BACK OUT. This guy wants me to send 20 bucks and my head gear to him first. And yet he won't trust me. What a fuking joke. Gave me a P.O. Box address to send to. Watch the fuk out this guy might be a scammer.

Was about to say that..
Anyway I'v got 2 pairs of cleto reyes gloves that I havn't even used 12 oz and 16 oz in blue, also got a brand new cleto reyes head gear in black medium.. but trading them would be difficult since I don't really trust anyone for me to send first and the winnings headgear probably wouldn't fit my small head anyway.. but would match my winning gloves nicely.
KostyaTszyu44 04-04-2009, 09:22 AM how can you people afford to buy all this expensive **** and not use it...thats insane

The cleto reyes gloves are more of a fighters glove not really the best for training not much padding either which doesn't help with my bad knuckles.. but if you want to knock someone the **** out it would be a good choice.. i was going to send them back but never got around to it.

you can spar with reyes 16 oz, they have more padding then grant pro training.
I3C727 04-05-2009, 01:23 AM Juhl can you hook me up with some detailed pics of your white grants??
JoHnNyBoXeR 04-05-2009, 01:26 AM where can i find some black cleto reyes amatuer competition fight gloves?
punchDrUnK MONK 04-05-2009, 06:04 PM yo im kinda interested. thats a good ass deal for that headgear.... i got one question about it tho.. hows the strap under the chin?? is it comfortable,, and mainly, does it resdt closer to the tip of the chin or futher back in the neck near the adams apple???
im picky with headgears , prefer to try them on before buying it, but ill say it again, thats a good ass deal... so get back to me man. ill be around until i hear from u.. i got nothing to trade but i got money
aight cool, the chin strap is confortable, its made of nylon, and its more toward the tip of the chin, its not on the adams apple.... but i suppose it could vary depending on where you would set it.
punchDrUnK MONK 04-05-2009, 07:33 PM yea true. it seems the style of headgear i currently wear. like the old skewl mexican style lace up at the bag n top and strap under. is there a way i could make it in payments, im strapped for cash right now living check to check , i could pay like 30 a week or so. 4 payments or something. let me know man i wont mess around ill give u all my information and stuff. i got paypal account.
ohhh idk, i didnt really expect to do that... i wouldnt ship the headgear til i had all the money in full... but for the right price i would do it.

To think that I almost sent this guy my "like new" Reyes headgear + 20 bucks. I must have gotten hit in the head too much.
TS: Put that **** on ebay and accept payment through paypal, if not nobody should trust a dude from middle of nowhere in freakin nebraska.
I agree with those who say this headgear needs to be posted on ebay or be purchased through paypal. Don't just send money to someone you don't know. With ebay/paypal there is reliability/credibility. If you don't receive the product after paying, you can file a claim. It's not safe to send money to someone you don't know. They'll just rip you off and run.
sold the headgear today, for 110 cash.
punchDrUnK MONK 04-10-2009, 12:49 AM booooooooooooooooooooooooo

So are you telling after seeing this thread, reading the OP's posts, and trying to put things together, that none of it seems fishy? Then all of a sudden when most people tell the OP to list on a site like ebay where they can get protection, the seller tells everyone its already sold. Who's the dumbass me, you or your father?

I actually have the same headgear OP but in 2L anyone interested?
One thing is that I didn't know it would be too big on me so I wrote my name on it. If someone wants to buy it, I'll try to erase as much as I can, but its written in black marker. It's been used 3 times now. I am hoping to get rid of it so I can get one in L.
StickItIn 04-17-2009, 07:58 PM As embarrassing as it is to admit, I got duped by this Juhl cat on an unrelated deal. PM me with an email address and I'll fwd you all the emails of how it went down. I also have his address and # if anyone wants it
Looks like he removed his profile picture. I feel bad for anyone who got scammed by this punk, I hope karma bites him in the ass.

Ive heard good things about winning w/ facebar. I was told its good to use because u know how sometimes with headgears with facebars you lean back from punches but they still catch you on the end of the bar and spin your head around lolz, i heard with this one it doesnt happen as much because the bar doesnt stick out as much and is tighter to the face but i dont have that kind of money for a headgear hahaha.
