I saw the Punisher Movie today.
A am personally a big fan of the Punisher.
I was extremely disappointed with this movie, for the second time they have managed to mess up a great story.
If you are a fan of the comic - you will hate this movie.
It does not follow along with the story of the comic.
First off they have him as a FBI agent - he is supposed to be a marine. Also they his family dies is in no way close to the way the are supposed to.
THe guy who played the Punisher did an OK job considering the horrible story line. John Travolta is a great actor, but due to the herrendous story line totally killed his character.
The Punisher is supposed to be a bad ass mofo, but in this movie we get a watered down version of a bad ass Punisher.
This movie just straight out sucked.
It barely corresponds with the comic.
I do not understand why they can not follow the correct story line. They have so much to work with, but once again Hollywood destroys something that could have been great.
Don't waste your time or money on this movie if your a fan of the Punisher - you will only be dissapointed.
If you aren't a fan yo make like the movie.

I give it 2 Globes out of 5.

I was gonna wait for it come out on video, wasn't impressed with the trailers. Can't wait for Kill Bill vol 2 though.

I only ever read one Punisher comic book. I'll check it out this Sunday and give you my opinion on Monday.

They made his character too soft. The original Punisher used to be ****ing bad ass. He would kill anyone that got in his way

What a let down.

If you go in expecting the comic you will be let down.

If you look at it as a vengence movie it was pretty good.


I think how he killed Saint and all them was a bit anticlimactic. I wanted to see more of a personal thing goin on.

Agreed. I never read the comic so I just look at it as a movie. Me and my girl liked it. It entertained us.
