Musiq Soulchild (yep...that's the lite whisper of a satin thong hitting the floor)

A few others deserve props too. My boy Brian McKneezy too of course. All of these dudes write their own music and are very talented in my opinion. They seriously help keep R&B alive.

Joe needs to come back with some hot ****. This will always be one of my favorite R&B tracks.

"Things Your Man Won't Do" is a given...but this one gets more love from me. I still think Joe was a bit overshadowed by Kels sabotage and some of the other bigger R&B acts of his day.

I can't really rate R&B because I only hear what my girl plays from time to time.

I will say that Jamie Foxx does come out with some really good songs.

Nothin funny about that. I listen to Dru Hill regularly. Their 2nd album is an absolute classic

I was waiting for you to post in this *****.

I've never been a huge fan of May J, but I respect her success. Good call on Robin Thicke. He's got a good style.

I thought Brian McKnight would have trouble transitioning into the 2000- sound of R&B from his old sound but I was wrong. A good songwriter will always come through:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/L4aWKuW0J4I&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/L4aWKuW0J4I&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

This and "Used To Be My Girl" were jams. I probably liked "Ten" more than most people, but it was a solid album overall for him.

Yea, that Raheem Devaughn is thee ****. Still wondering why dude isn't a superstar yet. Both albums I've heard from him are high quality, top notch efforts.

Big fan of RnB old and new. Right now I'm digging the new Prince MPLSound.

But shout outs to Maxwell.

and Jodeci, my all time fave RnB crew, but **** them for cancelling on not one, but three different Los Angeles area concerts in the past 3 years.

I'm gonna take it way back with

Ralfi Pagan who is cousins with Joe Bataan.
