Good fight while it lasted. I'm not that impressed with Burns, last time i saw him properly carl johanneson beat him so i suppose he's progressed since then.

Just watched it now. I've only ever seen that amateur compilation posted on here. I was really dissapointed tonight, hopefully it was just an off night.

Thanks to Rocky telling me there was a repeat at 2am I got in just after 1am and got settled, opened up a Big bottle of Stella and a bottle of Whiskey and enjoyed the fight fresh without knowing the result.

Good fight and I wish them both well but Gomez's heart is now stronger than his ability and I think he should quit now before he ends up with long term injuries.

Burns was excellent and dominated but Gomez is through so the fight wasnt as good as id hoped, time for Micky to call it a day me thinks,what a ride its been!

I saw a post on ESB that said he suffered a broken rib after the 3rd round, dean powell wanted him to retire in the 6th, but he refused, that would explain his poor showing.

Hes also offered king a rematch as soon as his ribs healed, as he wants to show him what hes all about asap.

That came from a poster on ESB, who is friends with andersons brother.
