Personally I've never tried either on. The Jordans are heavier but it all depends on your style. I have also seen top amateurs wearing both, so neither is a bad option. Hopefully you will get some input from people who own them.

I vote Tyguns. I bought, and actually have a brand new pair of Machomai highs sitting in my living room. To my knowledge are the exact same shoe as the Jordans without a zipper and the Jordan Logo. Honestly, the Machomai Highs are wack. I am going to sell them on Ebay. The whole shoe is really flimsy and no support. I ended up buying a pair of Asics Tigre and like them WAY more. That means a lot considering the price difference. If you do a search for the Machomai on here I think you will find some threads that say the same thing.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Tyguns. I went to another gym last week and a guy had the Jordan lows in white. I thought they looked sick. You should check them out too.

Maybe check out the Box Champ II as well. They are 85 on title right now compared with 150 on Ringside.

Thanks for the input shawn. yea i looked at the box champ 2s but i dont really like them. Yea i already knew they were the same but i havent gotten around to looking at some reviews on the Machomais. Ill probably go with the tyguns then, thank you for your input.

yea those were amazing. But if people say they are like the machomais and the machomais have bad reviews then im probably not gonna get them.

Get some asics. I like them. They aren't "officially" boxing shoes but so what. They have grip and flexibility. Well, they are wrestling shoes actually. Really, really, really lightweight. Just like any other wrestling shoe.
