BARNETT OFFERED G.P. FIGHT?

There is some interesting news coming from a few Russian websites. One
website in general from Russia implied the following. This came from
Fedor's website from one of the moderators of the site saying Josh Barnett
was offered to fight Fedor. He continued, "Barnett thought for a few days
about the fight and than declined." He said, that he, of course, wanted to
fight Fedor, but not in the GP format.

MMAWeekly tried to make call into Barnett on Saturday night but wasn't able
to get get a hold of him... For those of you who want to check out Fedor's
official site it's http://fedor.bel.ru/. We will see if we can get a hold of Josh this week for the show.....

Also it appears that Naoya Ogawa has entered the GP. I only going by his face. It doesn't say his name anywhere, but you can click on the link to see the article for yourself.

Yeah, I get the same vibe that Barnett doesn't want to fight Fedor.

So there you go, Pride made the effort...

Pride should contact Rizzo, God damn it.

Maybe they saw his last fight with Ricco and opted not to. Then again maybe they tried.

Look at Ricco's lasts fights (Nog and Rizzo), I don;t think the problem was Pedro there. I would like to see Rizzo fight under Pride Rules were he can soccer kick people after sprawling.

I hope they do contact him.

Agreed. Rizzo would very well under Pride Rules.

I beleive that Rizzo is still among the top 10 heavyweights in the world. Pride should really look into him and give him a shot, he deserves it
