It was no fluke, he'll be KO'ed again. Hype is one of the main reasons Khan is disliked by some. Same goes for Audley Harrison. The media seem to blow up Olympic boxers.

With all the pandering the media do to minorities people dont see the fire that burns in most English people. At sporting/live events a true gague of how the masses feel can be felt IT ISNT EDITED OR SCRIPTED.

The reason england is seen as a multicultural haven is purely down to far left propaganda/media and a distrust for anyone that remotely objects to a policy of covering all matters ethnic in cotton wool and pulling the race card out of their sleeve.

A very dangerous policy which this government seemed to get away with. Since the economic down turn people are starting to wake up and question how the country is being led.

The main problem with Warren fighters in particular is not so much the fighter but Warrens constant over hyping of them, then when a fighter starts to believe his own hype and his own stories Warren has put in the paper they then start talking with Audley harrison type delusion and we get fed up listening to them.

I watched the fight live and like you say I was amazed at how many asians were booing Khan. It seemed alot of them were there to see him lose.

There are so many ****ing brits that dont even want to work and sit on the dole their entire lives. If the foreigners want to work then let them do it.

There are exceptions where say a family will come over and get a free house and then claim ebenfits for years but just because some do that doesnt mean everybody does.

From what I've seen the Polish immigrants who have come to work in my town work twice as hard as most of the freeloaders round here. Aslong they're willing to work and dont just take the piss then it's not a problem.

A few decades down the line, Their off-spring can be seen as doctors, Lawyers, Dentists etc. With angry "True British" folk sitting on their backside complaining about how their taking all their jobs, whilst putting down their cup of coffee to read the tabloids.

Amir khan's got legendary hand speed and is one of the best olympic boxers I've ever seen.
That time he got KO'd was a fluke. It will probably never happen again. Breidis prescott is an undefeated pro and a hard hitter as well. For those that done boxing you know how it feels to get a hard hit to the chin. It's damn hard to concentrate and put your **** together after one of those.

He even beat the legend MAB with ease.

Khan didnt even win the gold medal, so maybe you should watch more than just a handfull of olympic fights before you go down that root.

The Prescott fight had no luck involved he just got tagged early by a big hitter, and he doesnt exactly have an iron chin. Khan takes him in a rematch though.

The Barrera fight was spoiled half way through the first round, from there on he was fighting a fighter who was way past his best and could only see out of one eye, he was obviously going to win the fight after they clashed heads.

I think he is a talented fighter who could go far, but im no fan of him and its nothing to do with race its because of arrogance he showed towards the ABA's after his olympic outing.
He opted for the money spinner against the Cuban rather than enter the ABA's, He then had the cheak to ask the ABA champ for a one off fight with the ABA title on the line, even though he wasnt willing to enter the tournament.

He very quickly forgot about the support amateur boxing gave him in getting him into the olympics once he came out of the olympics.

People say he beat Barrera with ease. Which he did but Barerra was blind nearly the whole fight. Thats not Kahns fault but i hate the way people go on that he proved his critics wrong by beating him.

Na i dont go along with that at all. Hatton is loved because of his personality, not that he's white. Nigel benn was loved because of his fighting style, nothing to do with his colour. In the UK for some reason we like to see some of our sportsmen fail! Dont ask me why but we do. Frank warren making Khan a pay per view fighter way before he deserved to be never helped either.

Khan is astonishingly over-hyped. He was knocked down and struggled badly against a completely shot Michael Gomez. Who subsequently got taken apart in much more impressive fashion by Ricky Burns - an average fighter at best. He was out on his feet against Willie Lomond, another average fighter, but was saved by a long count. Barrerra is well past his best, and was fighting with one eye after about 30 seconds, so let's not read too much into that. What makes him even more tiresome is how he never shuts up about his bloody world title credentials, whilst turning in these average performance. He just needs to pipe down and learn the game, rather than just prattling along about becoming a legend and being the best fighter on the planet. Prescott confirmed what we all knew - Khan is GLASS. It's no wonder they've gone after Kotelnik, a weak world champion with no power. When Khan steps in again with someone who can bang he'll be doing the riverdance all over the ring again. Hopefully this time he won't be getting up.

We can all dislike a boxer regardless of the parities or disparities that exist between the fanatics and the boxers. I deplore Bernard Hopkins as a thug, but I really like Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones Junior. I am increasingly finding Rick Hatton more excuse driven and less sportsmanlike with each new press release and the more I read about him. I admire Wladimir Klitschko greatly. I am following Miguel Angel Cotto's career with passionate interest. I know nothing of Amir Khan. I like fighters based on their poise and personalities and not because of their religions or ethnicities or whatever. Not all people who dislike this person or that do so because of these things. It is possible to dislike someone based solely upon his (or her) character flaws.
