You never know how a player will pan out until you give him some time to make his case. I'm not vetoing the trade and I'm sure no one else is either, it's a fair trade.

My pitching is what will get it done this year. To bad my outfield had to suffer in the process of building one of the best pitching staffs I have ever seen on a fantasy baseball team.

I'm optimistic I'll be ok over in Gringos league too. I've just got too many iffy players.....Could be really good, could be really bad. I got trading tools tho if needed. I'm sure I can move Pujols or CC if I had to and get 3 or 4 good players for them if needed....we'll have to see how things play out.

I had him on my squad in another league and he started the year 1-5 with a 7.51 ERA. When Cleveland traded him to the Brewers around mid season he was at 6-8 with a 3.83 ERA. Obviously going to a new team in a new league had a huge affect and he went 11-2 with a 1.65 ERA the rest of the way, but now he's back in the AL with a team that has huge expectations and a merciless media. If CC comes out flat for the first month of the season it could get ugly...

This is all true. He should get much better run support than he had in Cle tho. If he can keep a ERA below 4 that 6-8 would be more like 10-4 with run support. I'll keep my fingers crossed though thats forsure.

Man **** you...I had Millwod who pitched a CG but going against...who? Greinke...who pitched a CG + SHO....can my luck get any worse? I have a great squad on paper here that simply got smacked around this week.....ouch is all I got to say.

The only thing I can take away from this is.....This game was sooooo close in so may categories it easily could have went either way....just so happens I was on the shit end of every one of those categories.....man what a heartbreaking loss....and big loss to boot.

Long way to go but yes you're both on fire. I can't help but still believe I have a very strong team that will be there in the end.....I really like this team alot, probably more than any other team I've ever had in my 3rd season of fantasy baseball. But so far Martin,Aviles,Ordonez and even Hanley at this point have been disappointments. But on the flip side Hill,Cantu and Morgan have all been great waiver wire additions so far. We'll see how it goes.....It's going to be fun any which way you cut it.

It twas a fair deal indeed. I am however reluctant to deal one of the best hitter's in the game for a mediocre player and a stud pitcher. I will be getting three pitcher's off the DL within the next month which is exactly what I need at this point. My pitching is just god awful.

Obviously the Manny thing is a huge blow to my team and it has trickled down to affect Eithers stats too. Ordonez and Aviles have both been huge let downs. I've had a decent week all the way around. Wish my offense was a bit more potent this week but it's done enough to keep it close and win a few categories. That CG you got today sure helped your pitching stats but you're likely to still fall short. I need a HR and a double to overtake you in those stats....or it could go the other way making it alot closer....we'll see how it plays out. I was actually surprised at what a hot start I got off to. I feel confident that I will make the playoffs and from there anything can happen. If my team is healthy at the end I like my chances...

I'm only interested in making to the playoffs and I feel like I can make it to the post season. I dont know if I'm going to have enough to win the whole thing but I'm fairly confidant in post season play.

Titletown hasn't been checking his team either which is a suprise given the spot he's in.....I offered him a trade that sat for days and then I pulled because Bedard went on the DL.....He could've ****ed me good and gotten Cantu for free more or less but he ain't checking his shit....it sat for 4 days. Straight up I feel I'm destined to win this league this year....As long as my pitching can keep getting it done I have no question barring serious injury to any of my stars I have the best offense in the league. Avg,speed,power you name it, it's in there.

Well it seems to have worked so far. Although Sonny got a great performance out of Buehrle today.

If my closers come in today they all need to be lights out. Sonny is not the kind of owner to play around with.

Well it wasn't easy but had great pitching and enough hitting to get a nice win and continue to move up in the rankings. Manny should be back by the weekend and this ship looks to keep on rollin! Sandoval has been a nice suprise and a cure to my Russell Martin pains I had earlier in the year. Don't know who dropped Jayson Werth but thank you very much.....Grabbed Kaz off the wire too, maybe just maybe he can turn it around and lead the Rays staff come the 2nd half.....we'll see.

Waiting for Blood to post the new standings. 1 thru 4 is very close but I'm happy to be sitting in 2nd place now after such a horrid start to the season.

My team is rock solid. Long way to go and like many others I agree all ya gotta do is make the playoffs and anything can happen. I've never finished higher than 5th tho in any Baseball league and this being my 3rd season playing it would be nice to have a really good regular season for once. I'm struggling bad over in Grngos league but still can work my way into a playoff spot with constant management and defintely some better luck.....I just not getting any breaks. My team is good, certainly better than 11th place like I'm in but I've had no good fortunes.....hopefully that will change soon. I'm beating the piss out of the 2nd place team right now so if I can hold on it will be a nice way to start a turn around.....Gringo beating 14-1 last week really hurt in many ways though.....If I were a fighter my I would beat shot like Lacy has been since losing to Calzaghe.....
