Definition: (Liberal)
(1) Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.
(2) Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded.
(3) Of, designating, or characteristic of a political party founded on or associated with principles of social and political liberalism, especially in Great Britain, Canada, and the United States.

(So basically not really caring... accepting everything; i.e. the easiest way out of problems by simply not dealing with them or taking a stand for either side.)

What do all of you think about the latest trend of liberalism? The idea is catching like the plague especially around the U.S. lately. The American public sees it’s “Godly” movie stars all becoming liberal, so in turn the American society puppet show turns liberal as well. Do you remember when we look back in our History books when America actually had values, opinions, and ideas that they would actually die for? (You know, the very ideas and beliefs that actually created this country?) Not now a days, people don’t want to deal with any of that, thus turning to the liberal movement where anything and everything is okay.

No society in history has ever lasted forever. Every country, civilization, and society have all met their fate and end. But now America thinks that they are invisible and can shift feelings and beliefs to an “everything is okay” type of mentality with the honest belief that everything will be okay for ever and ever, (Kind of like a Cinderella story). This is bull ****. Liberalism is merely a starting point for the destruction of the society that we know as America, and yet we think that we will be different than EVERY SINGLE society before us throughout all of history and that no matter how many “values” we choose to destroy, our country will remain.

If you classify yourself as liberal, why do you choose this movement for your belief system?

If you are not liberal, why do you choose not to be part of this belief system?

1) Free from bigotry.

bigotry

\Big"ot*ry\, n. [Cf. F. bigoterie.] 1. The state of mind of a bigot; obstinate and unreasoning attachment of one's own belief and opinions, with narrow-minded intolerance of beliefs opposed to them.

2) Pretty self explanatory. Favoring reform, open to ideas for progress, tolerant of others beliefs and ideas. Broad minded.

Those don't sound like such terrible things.

I'm of the belief that invading other countries and imposing our political agenda will lead to the downfall of our civilization long before those damn liberals. But hey, that's just me. To each his own.

This is correct. History doesn't change and always repeats. Western civilization will one day be crushed by an alliance of its enemies and then the enemies of that alliance will one day crush it and so on and so forth.

Actually, I disagree Hockeyfighter. At the rate we are going, history won't repeat. We will blow ourselves up and there won't be anyone left to record history.

Does time pass without anyone to record it?

Ya what is that theory called? Oh **** this is going to bug me to hell till I can get my current events notebook on monday.

and creed history doesn't repate. Two ideas become one. Then another idea will join the one that was already created by the joining of the two. And so on and so on.

Good post matt
Liberals are slowly destroying this country
They want the easy way out of things and always point the finger at someone else when something goes wrong
I hate liberals with a passion
Liberals are a step down from Communist

Read your own post. You are doing exactly what you accuse "liberals" of doing.

You 2 represent the conservative party well. [sarcasm] That's what I think, and it's right, and if you don't agree you're the devil! You tree huggers are destroying this great country. Down with freedom and up with conservative world domination. Because our beliefs are just and right and must be forced upon the masses.[end sarcasm]

America needs more than one choice. A lot of the more moderate republicans and democrats would most likely be in the same party in Canada. The only difference between them is what nut cases they are more willing to tolorate in thier party. The right wing racist reilgious *******s or the pot smoking, tree hugging hippie.
