She had to quit her job, her grades have suffered, her mood has been horrible and she's just been really down. But this last week or so, she's coming out of it and just waiting to see what the doctor says. Her graduation road trip is put on hold....there is no way she'll be able to travel for a long distance. We're both bummed about it too. I, for one, was looking forward to a three week trip with my daughter......but her health is so much more important. So is yours Dave. Get that MRI done as soon as possible. GhosT^x0 04-06-2004, 04:41 PM We are moved into the new place. By the time you read this, a PM with my new home number should be waiting for you in your inbox, along with my cell # in the event that you don't have it. You're right... I still feel like rancid **** over not bein able to see Danny this last time around, the day I got stuck wandering magic mtn without my ****in cell phone... I'd love to see the both of them again. Lord knows with some of the **** I've been through, I'd certainly have some encouraging things to say. nance 04-06-2004, 09:38 PM Well, the MRI is over and done with. It was NOT a pleasant experience for her. She took 2 tylenol w/codiene to dent the pain. She crashed. She could feel the needle (dye contrast) while the doctor was postioning it in the right spot so the dye would go into the shoulder joint. It was a 3 1/2 long needle, although it didn't go all the way in, about half of it was in her. They did let me come in to help keep her calm because she was a bit frightened. They gave us our own set of films and I've already dropped them off with another doctor and they will be our second opinion. No matter what the current group's med. opinion is, I'm getting a second opinion. |
