A whale washed ashore in Southern Vietnam on Friday and is now starting to decay. Throughout all of Vietnam, people are pilgrimaging to the whale in order to burn incense next to the body and worship it, because they believe that it’s a sign of prosperity for the next fishing season. Once the whale is done with the decomposition processes, the citizens will use its bones to create a temple to honor the whale.

Isn’t it funny how the rules and culture that we place on animals, we choose not to apply on mankind? Biologically since we are linked to animals although are different in species, shouldn’t we reevaluate this?

I mean, think of that same story in human terms. A human mother dies giving birth to a baby whom lives. Naturally we won’t use her bones to create a temple honoring the life that she created giving birth to her baby. Why? Because it’s frankly pretty gross. Yet we think it’s okay to do in the animal kingdom... why?

You know, I was thinkin... I don't think I'd build a temple out of my friend's bones... but gimme like 60 or 70 friends'-worth of bones, and we're talkin.

The whale has MAD bones, bro... I think we can blame this one on how weird asian culture is, and how little they have to do. While we post on global, they tell time with sun-shadows. While we talk on the phone, they throw rocks and hope the ****ers hit whoever they're trying to reach. Or they send smoke signals and ****.

Plus, Japan's the only ****in country that's taken an A-Bomb straight to the head. You kinda gotta factor that into whatever weirdness you're accusing them of at the time, and then it all makes more sense.
