He won't, its a 3 event comitment and he is fighting for the UFC in June

It would be awesome

He should of gone after he beat Trigg

He would win IMO. He is too big for Mriko, too strong for Nogueria to sub. Only person that would give him trouble is Fedor but its hard to hold down someone that 6" taller than you

Hughes would be even stronger and it would be interesting to see him fight against Baroni and Muarry. However, he lost to Penn and needs to avenge that loss before he goes anywhere

and finaly

It would be an interesting fight, but not as exciting as people would think. Both men have great chins, but neither one is excatly a top level guy when it comes to striking. Cabbage vs Baroni (as a natural HW) would be much more interesting

I'd still like to Mirko vs. Shilt. I have a feeling that this would be a bad match-up for Mirko. If Shilt can beat Hoost standing, I bet he can decision Mirko too.

Have you seen pictures of them? Schilt is a lot skinnier than Syliva. Also, Semmy is not even a top rated fighter. Maybe in K-1, but not in MMA. He isn't even top 10

They are almost identical in size, they just have different body types. Shilt has muscle while Sylvia is just chunky. There mass is almost identical(I did look at pictures).

and who has Semmy Schilt beat in MMA? And thats MMA, not early pancrase matches (half of them were worked anyway).

Syliva trains with a great team, has knocked out 2 top ten fighters, one of which should of gotten the nod over Nogueria.

Yes, styles make fight, but so does quality of opponets. People that follow MMA seem to forget that. Schilt is NOT in Sylivas league when it coems to MMA. To honestly say that Schilt is as good as Syliva when it comes to MMA is not only stupid, but smacks of ignorance

So do most of your MMA posts. I'd love to see Shilt vs. Mirko or Leko in the GP. Shilt beat hoost standing(I know it was draw, but evryone knows Shilt won) and I bet he would beat Mirko too. Mirko ain't gonna land that high kick to Semmy's dome and Semmy will keep Mirko away with that jab and front kick. Mark my words if they meet, Mirko goes down.

- You said Fedor wasn't gonna be able to take your boyfriend down beacuse he was over 6'0.
-Lightweight joked about how "hard" it was for Fedor to take down Schilt.
- You said they didn't even look alike physically
- I posted that they in fact weight and measure about the same

Would you two stop swinging from each others nuts? I never said Fedor wouldn't take Syliva down. People still think that just becase you can take someone down, you can keep them there long enough to do enough damage to beat them. Syliva is a lot stronger than Schilt, probably equal to Fedor. Fedor is a lot smaller in size than Syliva so its hard to control his hips (which is the area you need to control to keep someone down). I am saying Syliva could take the damage from Fedor on the ground than Fedor could standing up. Syliva has shown (although very breifly) he can handle a world class grappler and that he can stuff takedowns. Riccos takedowns aren't as good as Fedors, but they are still good and he stopped Ricco cold so its pretty safe to assume Fedor would at least have trouble taking him down. Once Fedor got him there, he would have to use a lot of strengh and energy to keep him there, let alone do some serious damage.

Fedor has been rocked on the feet before also. Fujita caught him with a right hand and wobbled him pretty good. The closest Syliva ever came to being rocked was when Cabbage caught him with a lead left. Syliva then covered up and slipped every shot Cabbage threw after that.

I am not saying Syliva would own Fedor, or that Fedor wouldn't have a chance. I am just saying if they fought, I like Tims chances and that I would be picking him to win.

Christ, just because I disagree with the rest of you doesn't mean I am wrong. Maybe you two need to have a little more respect for Mr Syliva. He just might surprise you

He posted thier stats. Syliva isn't lankey at all. Gan McGee is shaped more like Schilt than Syliva is
