I've been up and down the Cali coast and I must say that SF has the best Filipino restos, Los Angeles not too far behind and SD is just plain nasty/gross.

I swear man, the Pinoys in SD can't cook Pinoy food for sh*t, and it looks like sh*t, most of the Pinoy Restaurants in SD are mostly turo-turos and they're worse than eating puke itself.

Nothing really beats Pinoy food in the Philippines, but a few SF places come close.

I'd like to hear your guys' feedback.

cant really speak for the food in SF and SD but i can say that he food in LA is pretty good....not 'back home' good, but it hits the spot


the only thing that bugs me is the San Mig Lites out here...they're brewed differently and taste like ****

you can go to artesia in southern cali go to magic wok it's a small place but they have the best crispy pata. their other food isn't that good only the crispy pata and it's cheap. there's also gerry's in artesia who has the best sisig and really famous in the philippines. then u can go to my house i have the best garlic crabs and chilli crabs, sizzling tadjang (beef rib, beef bulalo), chicharon bulaklak and isaw.

Yeah. But if you want sit-down restaurants, go to Gerry's Grill or Salo-Salo.
