Because the people at PRIDE enjoy ruining what could be an awesome show. Why does it need to be 16 man? If it was an 8 man show, it would rock.

Also, I do think there are too many mismatches in boxing. I complain about that a lot, but this is an MMA board.

I have to agree with Creed. I understand its entertaining but its still a ****ing circus sideshow.

Its only a sideshow if the other guy didnt train for it. Plus you can get upsets like the Kerr fight.

Its entertainment, just enjoy it. You know its goin to be fun to watch.

Listen everyone, the MW GP was AWESOME because there weren't any fighters in there that weren't legit fighters. Yoshida and Tamura were the closest things and Yoshida proved he could hang in there. I am simply agreeing with Carlo in saying that is ****ing stupid to throw some pro wrestlers in to the GP when you could put real fighters in there insted.

Maybe if the rest of you pulled your head out of your asses you would realize that this GP won't even be a shadow of the last one. Thats my point, and it doesn't matter if you like it or not. Its true

MW GP=8 fighters

HW GP=16 fighters

Second round should have all "legit" fighters...Its not like the final 8 fighters will all be Pro wrestlers.

So far you got 6 "legits"...youll probably get atleast 4 more legities....Making that 10 legit fighters but only 8 can go on. To complain before the final card is crazy....if the next 8 figher are pro wrestler I will probably feel a lil down about this event, but they are not going to be Pro wrestlers. Especially if Ninja is suppose to be in it

Creed, instead of damning the show in advance, why don't you just wait and see like the rest of us. The six legit fighters, like Ensanity said, already got me excited. The final 8 will be really exciting for sure.

Besides, like someone mentioned before, this has to cater to the Japanese audience as well as us.

I just meant the 5 words of you saying "I have to agree with Creed". I'm not happy about the pro-wrestlers, but oh well. The Japanese love em, so nothing we can do. There are'nt 16 top fighters in my opinion that could have a chance with Nog, Mirko, Fedor and some of the other top contendors already in there. They are still needing more fighters, so I am sure the rest or atleast most of em, will be quality fighters, if not... then ****. No need for people *****ing about a tournament that isnt even fully completed with 16 fighters.... you gotta expect a few fighters that dont belong in there are gonna be added. so who the **** else are they gonna get? And as said, the Japs love pro-wrestlers.
