You guys shouldn't bad mouth cops. If you break the law then you get what's coming to you. Don't put them all in the same bag of apples just because there happens to be a worm here and there. You all know that without them you wouldn’t sleep as well as you do.

When I call...they don't come

When I drive....they pull me over cause I drive an old car

When the neighbor shot out my tail lights...they did nothing

When my buddy went to get his dog out of someone's yard...They broke his wrists

When they challenge you to a fight and you beat them....they arest you

when you tell them your wife is sick and you don't want to let them search the car...they make you sit for over an hour till a dog shows up

when you've never had anything more than a speeding ticket on your record....they still search your car cause of where you live and cause you hang out with black folks.

there are some good cops out there, but the vast majority are *******s enjoying and abusing the little authority they have over regular citizens...

most people who hate cops are people who do stupid enough illegal things to get busted, like its the cops fault for doing his job :)

I had my car searched twice when i was in high school, but haven't had it searched in over a year.

my point was in most cases, MOST, if you don't do anything wrong, no ones gonna bother you.

cops have a job, there job is to keep YOUR community SAFE or as safe as possible within there ability.

the request to search your car CAN BE DENIED. and when denying it you do not put yourself in probable cause. granted if they really wanted to they could detain you and wait for the drug sniffing dog but if you are made to wait to long even if they found a lbs of crack it would be thrown out.

no matter how hard you have it dealing with cops, cops have it worse dealing with the rules they have to abide by, there bosses, and the ungratefull citizens they HAVE TO protect.

There are some bad cops out there no doubt, but to stereotype all cops as *******s or bad cops is kinda hippocritical if your reasons are that they profile you or harass you because you are a certain race, class, etc.

never fought with a cop yet but I very much agree to the rest.

Everybody hate cops...until somebody has a serious problem.

I don't like cops in a 80%...

1 in 4 Massachusetts state police officers is a decent human being. They are actually joined with the regitrar in Mass. from what I have been told so a Statie can pull you over to "inspect" your car to see if its fit to drive and that little bit is enough to grant probable cause to search your vehicle.

I have my vices but we are definetly not better without. We need a better background and psych evaluation for officers. That is ****ing incredible stress and it could eventually cause even the slightest unhinged person to snap.

A guy did that on a highway about 5 miles from where I live. Except he didn't get their numbers, he just raped them.

And what about all the cops that died on 9/11? Running in a building that was falling apart and burning just to see if they might be able to get some innocent people out alive? There are two sides to each coin. Don't paint everyone with the same brush

your not grasping what I was trying to get at. there are good and bad people. In general no matter what you do. When your a Cop and a bad person your not only whats bad about society but your job puts you above your average citizen. So the collective voice of the people have to monitor who protects and serves us because a single person's word against a police officer's means ****.

Since human beings despise unifying no matter what race, religion or creed trying to get justice vs. an authoritive figure is alot harder then trying to prosecute Tyrone the car thief. This is why they have internal affairs but alot goes un reported and a case often takes years. try building evidence for a case against people who know about evidence. Things like "throw aways" are often carried by corrupted Cops.

I agree that most cops were guys who got picked on in college and like throwing there weight around. Here in Portland alot of the cops are skinheads.
