I think this might be a good move for him. Mosley needs to change his style in order to be effective at 154. He has to realize that his "power boxing" style, the one he's built with his father and what he's used throughout his career, just doesn't work at the Jr. middle division. He was used to just blowing out guys his size. Now, he's in there with guys that are bigger and stronger than he is.

At 154, I think if he develops a style that utilizes his speed and movement rather than loading up on his power shots would be more effective for him.

I think this is a very good move too. He's 30+ so I hope it's not to late. It's gotta be tough to change your style after fighting one way so long.

It is, but for him, it's going to be a necessity. I think Buddy McGirt would be perfect for him. He changed Gatti's style and turned him into a boxer with good movement. I think he could do the same for Mosley.

That's exactly what Shane needs. Quit trying to brawl, land the big shots. Use his speed and box instead of brawling. I've always liked him and hope he can do it.
