It's signed, sealed and delivered. Ken Shamrock will face Kimo in the main event of UFC 48. This comes as a surprise to many MMA insiders as Tank Abbott was scheduled to be Shamrock's original opponent. But Zuffa required Tank to take a major paycut before resigning him. Obviously, that did not happen, and so instead of an emotion filled grudge match, we now get Ken-Kimo II.

i'm actually not the dissapointed. i'd rather watch kimo fight than tank.

I think Kimo will do pretty good, but i'd like to see shamrock win, he needs a win if he wants to fight in the ufc. i think its a tossup between the two.

Kimo has been training his ass off from what I hear. His stand up against Sapp looked suspect but everyone fights Sapp in a defensive mode.

I think Kimo is gonna take that fight

Tony Fryklund. The fight was against David Loiseau at UCC (TKO) 12.

I think Kimo might win this one as well. With a reconstructed knee, you have to suspect that Shammy won't be the same. If anything, I think he's lost a lot of his mobility.
