Definately, I was surprised how good his jab was tbh.

As you said, only time will tell......a good performance nevertheless!

I'm not a fan of Monroe but thought he did well tonight.

I was impressed with Jeffries myself and that jab was awesome.

Impressed with Rendall last night. Martinez was a different fighter from the first fight, much more agressive, yet Rendall kept his nerve and boxed well down the stretch to get a comfortable decision. I would like to have seen him pick his shots better in the last couple of rounds instead of swarming; he would of got the stoppage that way. I'd like to see him take on a name next fight, someone like Ricardo Castillo.

With regards to Jefferies, last night was a good start. He looked in great shape and very big for super middleweight; he looked like a cruiserweight in there. Nice jab and loved the body work. He seems to carry heavy hands as well. I'd like to see Maloney keep him active and not feast him on bums, ahem Frank Warren, and step it up slowly.

I agree, Martinez was a different fighter last night, he was so fired up for it!! I'm glad Monrue figured him out, I was worrying in the 3rd to be honest!!! It would be great to see Monrue in that world title fight if things work out!!

Agree with both of you there. Rendall is quite a big Super-Bantamweight as well. If Bernard Dunne is 'allowed' to fight for the WBA title with the ranking he has, Rendall should surely have a chance to fight for a world title soon. He should go full time though, would have a better chance of winning one.

He definately consider going full time, it seems he really likes his job though!
