I couldn't get SETH, AKUMA and GOUKEN.

I've finished all the available characters............but those 3 wouldn't show up.

I got this on the day of release but then my 360 got RROD 10 minutes later :(

Finally played it today and...I don't like it.

I'm not big on beat 'em ups, but I really enjoyed Virtua Fighter 5, and I thought that MK v DC was pretty good. This game, however, just doesn't do it for me.

Part of the problem is that I'm not that good, part of it is that the new characters are (IMO) ****, and part of it is that this game doesn't have the right 'feel' to it.

Sometimes a game seems hard to get into, but then you play it more and get used to the gameplay and start to climb the learning curve (so to speak). This hasn't happened to me in the small amount of time I've played it, but maybe I need to give it more time.

I'll give it another go at some point, but it's been a dissapointment so far.

I played it on my friends xbox and thought it was fun. I was quite fond of the game back in the SNES and SEGA days so it brought back fun memories for me. I also remembered most of the special moves so that was a plus.

Cammy End the arcade mode with Crimson Viper

Gouken Complete the game with Akuma. Then (in single round matches) get at least 1 perfect, 3 Ultra Finishes, 5 first attacks and don't use any continues.
Rose End the arcade mode with M.Bison
Sakura End the arcade mode with Ryu
Seth End the game with all the other characters

I'd give it a 9 outta ten, but you have to have online in order to really enjoy it.

Gave this another go tonight, ended up playing it for 5 hours :D

I put it on the easiest mode and beat the **** out of the computer for a while and then played online.

My online record was 13 wins and 32 defeats, but for some reason I like the online mode for this more than I liked it for other beat 'em ups. I also liked that not once was there even a millisecond of lag (unlike VF5).

I still don't like the mega combo stuff though. A few times I was winning and then the other guy came out with a 700 hit combo that I was powerless to stop, and it meant that I lost. A bit like on Fight Night when you're winning and then you get caught with a massive haymaker.

But anyway, it's a good game and I like it, and I'd probably play it a lot more if only I was a bit better at pressing up, right, down diagonal left, forward, X, X, forward, jump, pull a cork out of your arse etc.

I'd say 7.5/10

Compared to Virtua Fighter......It's a button masher. The level of skill and technique required between the games is considarable (not as bad as say Virtua / Tekken where the gap is huge) and I don’t like that.

Brownie points however for finally adding some balance to the series with the characters, rather than having just a handful of characters dominate everyone else
