I don't box, but I been in a lotta streetfights. From my experience, nobody ever throws body blows in streetfights, so it ain't happened to me. But I've dished out some and seen others throw some that had cats lookin like they had some chunks in their draws.

**** my self no, but i did get hit in the liver so hard that the room started spinning, i felt like vomiting, and i was suffocating.

Can't say it happened to me, i took my share of body punches, they hurt more than head punches for sure but really i have never really been hurt. Maybe i'm lucky and i never got hit in that sweetspot, but i doubt it, i'm a southpaw, so the left hook to the liver isn't that hard to land on me.

Lol my first body shot that I received was terrible I sparred a pro and he got inside and gave me a left hook to my ribs. I couldn't breathe for a good 10 secs I almost fell but I hung in there. That's when I learned the effectiveness of a good body shot

i weigh 160 and one time i was in messing around with a heavyweight who fghts pro. he was just messing arounbd with me cus hes a friend of mine, but then he landed a pretty hard liver shot n i felt like i was gunna throw up and **** myself at the same time. It was the wost feeling in my life. its good for everfyone to experience it tho, as a real gut check.

Unlike head shots, body shots aren't easy to avoid. While sparring with a headhunting heavy, he couldn't hit me, so he tried a body shot which put me in the hospital. Felt like he hit me with a sledgehammer!

Funny that this thread came up. I just started boxing about 2 months ago and last week I made the mistake of getting in with a guy who was there practicing his "stand up" for MMA fighting. The guy hit me with a hook to my side and I almost therw up. I had to back up a minute and dance around a bit to get back into things... But I never threw up and I never crapped myself...yet.

I haven't **** myself but I've thrown up. I got hit with one right under the ribcage and I was shook for a second cause I lost my wind and then I got hit again near the same spot. I couldn't make it to the toilet in the locker room so I yacked in a little bucket. It was all water and mucus though so i took it to the locker room and dumped it out.

Nah, i've never ****ted/felt like ****ting on myself from a body shot. I only got hit in the liver once, at the most my knees buckled and I felt like throwing up. Its weird though because it was a liver shot but the pain went to the left side of my body. After that, I have used the philly shell D and dont take body shots anymore.
