Inspired by different opinions on it in the "Classic albums of the 2000's" thread.

Personally, I think it is. It's 9th wonder's best duo album he's done with any rapper production wise.

The lyricism isn't great, but it's good enough to do the beats justice.

The only feature is Phonte for the outro, obviously there isn't a single weak guest spot that can bring down a track(s).

The album structure is perfect, I love when albums are in the extended EP format, it just gives that much less room for error.

I can listen to it all the way through at any time, and I have atleast 50 times already, a modern day classic, but what do you think?

you gotta check it asap. It's murs' 2nd best effort, behind "The end of the beginning".

Its a good album but saying its a 'classic' is going a little overboard. IMO There are some gems on there and its definitely not one to sleep on.

^I can repsect everybodies opinion, but I'm surprised you voted average, it was really just an obligatory poll choice lol

Behind TEOTB?...that's a bold statement, i felt that 3:16 was a much more cohesive album where as TEOTB had a couple filler tracks. Making TEOTB interchangeable for 3rd-4th best with Murray's Revenge behind my personal favorite, "Murs Rules The World". Mums The Word's production is amazing.

I was just about to say vote Pico lol

I agree.

Classic just gets thrown around entirely too much these days.

I voted it a great album.

I absolutely love that album but I think the term 'classic' is being thrown around far too much lately.
