(2-20-04) *NBA Mega star, Shaquille O'Neill is rumored to have interest in buying a piece of a current MMA organization. No organization has been named although frequent UFC appearances would make one wonder. It is no secret that Shaq is a huge UFC fan and rumor has it that his playing days are winding down. So what better ambassador for the MMA than Shaq Fu? As announced on PKW this past Wed night, Shaq has already sponsored a Sport Martial Arts competition team (Team TWISM) and a venture into the MMA industry would be no surprise...after all, Vince McMahon, Don King, and several other prominent figures have shown ownership interest.

more money in mma could be good i guess. i wouldnt go as far as saying some of the mentioned should actually run mma orgs, but if they are putting money into it, it can def. put on better shows here in the US... possibly even bigger paydays for the fighters who train they're ass off for next to nothing... just coz they love doing it.

As long as he's just putting up the money it should be ok. I don't want to see Charles Barkley vs. Cabbage but Shaq's name could help out.

I'd like to see Shag vs. Karl Malone though.
