1 James Berto W Scott Johnson Submission (Strikes) 4:59 1 Great fight with Berto controling the striking and getting the ref to stop the fight via punches.
2 Sauli Heilimo DRAW Carlo Prater Draw 5:00 2
I had this one pretty even, to include a tap put from Prater that only a few people saw from an angle when he was in an arm bar.
3 Joakim Engberg DRAW Landon Showalter Draw 5:00 2 2 words, slug-fest. This 2 guys came down to put a good show, they fought hard in a seesaw battle.
4 Todd Carney W Efrain Ruiz KO 1:29 1
It started with Efrain trying to take the fight down and Carney sprawling pretty good, to hit Efrain with a knee that sounded like a bat hitting a palm tree for the KO.
5 Gesias Calvancanti W Justin Wisniewski Submission (Guillotine Choke) 1:53 1
Some quick shots, JZ gets the take down, Justin scramble to stand and JZ gets the chocke.
6 Antony Rea W Mark Tullius KO 3:50 1
Rea was awarded the "Fighter of the Night" award. Good fight with some good exanges from the clinch, but Rea got the best out of Tullius and KO'ed cold.
7 David Bjelkheden W Charles McCarthy Submission (Strikes) 3:33 1
Charles connected some shots at first and David took the fight down, Charles scramble to a reversed triangle and Kimura, David got out and landed a few hits. On the next scramble Charles went toutle and David hit him pretty hard forcing Charles to Tap
8 Thiago Alves W Nuri Shakir Decision 5:00 2
Great fight, IMO fight of the night. Great show of stand up from both fighters. On round 2 Pitbull dominated the pace and trying a kneebar and getting the back of Nuri looking for armbars and chokes.
9 Edson Diniz W Hiroki Kotani Submission (Armbar) 3:01 1
From the bell Edson was very agressive, he came in threw some punches forcing Kotani to try a double leg, Edson sprawled hard and the ground fighting class began! He switch from one move to the other getting the arm
10 Jorge Santiago W Takuya Wada Submission (Armbar) 1:52 1
Wada came in looking explosive and Jorge very calm, they traded a few times including Wada flying punch. eventually it hit the ground and Jorge got the triangle/armbar
11 Izuru Takeuchi DRAW Marcel Ferreira Draw 5:00 3
Very good fight. The first round Takeuchi connected very well with some strikes and defending the takedowns, including a near ko. Rd 2, Marcel pick up the pace getting takedowns, sweeps, mount, but got a warning for a knee to the head and then a point deduction. Rd 3, Marcel really controlled the fight with most of the time having him on the mount punching, including a guillotine that I thought Takeuchi was going out. The judges saw it as a Draw, but one could hear adn feel the disagreement of the croud!
